My Waitrose card

Just received this morning an envelope containing some Waitrose vouchers (free bag of Waitrose sweets, free 3m roll of wrapping paper and save 5p a litre fuel voucher) and a My Waitrose card. It may seem like a daft question, but what do I do with the card?

I would have thought you just need to take the card in to their shops. Does it tell you anything in what you received ? MS

I got one as well and had the same thought as its not a points collecting thingy just to monitor what people spend and on what I suppose.

No it says nothing about the card, apart from 'if you use it in our shops or online, at Waitrose.com, you'll be able to let us know the products you like.'

sounds like you just hand it over when you do your shop , and waitrose use it to find out what you are buying - and then target you for specific offers

Go to the Waitrose website and the My Waitrose page and activate your card. Also worth checking that your address etc are correct

I also got one today and it says: 'As you probably have a wallet full of cards, I know we need to make ours worth carrying. That's why we'll give a month's free groceries to one My Waitrose cardholder - every month in every branch. You just need to show your card each time you shop with us'.
So might be worth keeping it on you?

I got sent a 10 % off ( until end of next week) waitrose card.

Don't normally shop there . Can only think it was sent to me after I entered some competitions online.
