The vouchers arrive when you stop shopping with them - or, more specifically, stop using the card.
Works well for us - Aldi provides around 90% of what we need (it gets better and better as they continue to target Waitrose customers) and our trips to Waitrose become less and less frequent.
This 'behaviour' causes Waitrose to email vouchers to tempt us in, which we're happy to take up.0 -

Just received this morning an envelope containing some Waitrose vouchers (free bag of Waitrose sweets, free 3m roll of wrapping paper and save 5p a litre fuel voucher) and a My Waitrose card. It may seem like a daft question, but what do I do with the card?
Scan it every time you shop and you'll get discounts on certain products, a free coffee, and a free newspaper (if you spend enough). Also go on the Waitrose website and set up your "Pick Your Own Offers" - 20% off the things you choose.0 -

I regularly shop in Waitrose & I get the money off a total spend, & money off certain product vouchers.
I've never had the freebie vouchers though - my daughter got one this week for some free cupcakes.0 -
