Thanks everyone this has just reminded me to change my address for waitrose. they sent me vouchers for free duchy originals biscuits last year -prince charles' posh biccies are not the kind of thing usually on my MSE shopping list! Its also worth a look in that newspaper they have by the tills, they don't have offers often but when they launched a food to go range I got a lot of coupons out of it.0

Just received my Waitrose card and vouchers. Not too sure I like the idea of them spying on my shopping habits when there is no obvious, regular advantage apart from vague promises of free tastes of products, money off Waitrose favourites and a monthly draw for free shopping.
Like the vouchers for free products tho0 -
It's the same kind of thing as my Iceland card, it doesn't actually "do" anything, but they sometimes send me a voucher for 50p I can use. I don't mind swiping it, them knowing what I buy might make them keep a product range I like. Maybe."There is no substitute for time."
Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
Thanks OP, this has reminded me to update my address.
I expect they've already posted out a card to my old address, does anyone know if I can request another one?0 -
Use the new Waitrose card today for the first time. Spent £4+ and there was a deduction as "WR marketing voucher" of 0.01p.
Will be interesting to see if this appears on each bill (as a payment for the marketing info?) or if it increases with a larger spend.
Anyone else noticed this?0 -

I suppose it makes sense: Tescos give 1 point per 1 pound, the point equals 1p. Just giving you the money back rather then sending you a voucher. (Though in Tescos there is no mimimum spend).0 -
Just a couple of quick questions for anyone who has used their vouchers. Can you collect the sweets and wrapping paper at the same time? and do you have to bring the items to the till yourself?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Tried to use the petrol voucher and they would not accept it0

I just took them to the till without any other purchase, gave the card with the vouchers and went through without a problem.0
