but they dedicate their lives to some artists and I just feel this is being taken advantage of.

    More fool them.

That's why when I was young I kept my money (for beer usually) and just bought an album.

It's not unusual for venues to give tickets away when sales are slow. You bought tickets through your own choice, how others got their tickets is irrelevant I'm afraid. Just let it go and learn from it.
  • Im fighting a loosing battle is the plain and simple answer to this one then !:(:(

As I said before, do you have any photographic evidence of the restricted view?

Also of course write reviews about the concert and let people know what is being advertised is nothing like what you will experience.

I think this suggestion is the best you'll do to get rid of your obvious upset.

Get it out of your system by posting on as many relevant websites as you can.

See if any entertainment editors of daily papers is interested in your experience.
Limited number of standing tickets that put you on stage with Rihanna! Tickets give you access to the exclusive pods sunk into each side of the stage.

I think the response you'll get from whoever you've complained to is that you should have expected possible restricted view from somewhere sunk into each side of the stage - and you should have expected a side view rather than front.

And yes, I do think you're fighting a losing battle.

Can you possibly upload the photos so we can see? Either Flickr, photobucket etc?

If the view is genuinely restricted then it could be argued that you should have been told about this.

Doing a quick search for stage pod tickets, brings up some Rihanna pod views.

    One from Manchester

EDIT...Interestingly none from Birmingham, but from Glasgow, Manchester London etc...does that say something.

WOW that person must have been extremely tall or put the camera on top of the speaker which was clearly in that direction which blocked our view completely ?!

Yes I have pics but cannot upload them now as Im at work and the photos are at home !

Whether they say sunk in the stage or not, its not clear that they are restricted view, and Ticketmaster always state this if it is.

It does state that they are sunk in the stage - I found that by googling as you suggested.

You didn't have a contract with Ticketmaster.
Do Ticketweb always state if tickets have restricted view?
    Always? Always? Always?
