GUTTED :0(:(
Do you have a link to exactly what was advertised (so we can see if we agree that they were mis-advertised)?
You don't know why the tickets were given to a member of Arena staff.
Can you say categorically that they were given away because nobody wanted to pay for them?0 -

Sorry, but more fool you."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
I take it Rihanna is no longer one of your favourite singers anymore.
Seems like your main complaint is how the tickets were advertised and maybe a letter to the organisers and the ticket company is the best you can do. Also of course write reviews about the concert and let people know what is being advertised is nothing like what you will experience.
It's not just singers though, it's the same with many actors as well and footballers, who have no respect for the money people may pay to see and/or meet them.
My mate who has been an extra in films/tv shows, says many actors who come across as fun loving, caring people, who love the audience, are just bad tempered horrible stuck up people.
My mate went to see Spurs play football at a 5 a side tournament which had past greats and got tickets to go behind the scenes so to speak.
He said a couple of the players, were so rude/ignorant and didn't even want to sign autographs for his boy, he couldn't feel the same about those players he once idolised.0 -

Yes I researched it and could only find that it promised to be a great experience. The fact that she didnt acknowledge her fans is not really the problem, its the fact that they were the worst view - yet the cheaper seats were better view. I think they should have been advertised as "restricted view" like some tickets are.
Ok, so it was the restricted view that your complaint is about.
Was everybody in the pod of the same view as you and your friend?
I said this earlier:You're right, it is a long spiel and unless you've been much more concise in your complaint to Live Nation and Rihanna's people, I doubt you'll even get a reply.
Was it concise?
Did it concentrate on the actual reason for your dis-satisfaction?
I'm sorry that this isn't what you want to hear, but I think you're flogging a dead horse with this and you really should put it down to experience.0 -

I just tried to post a link but the forum wont let me as im a "new user". Its on ticket web and in google if you just search rihanna pod tickets ticket web they come up. The ones currently available for the 02 Arena are more expensive as prices are dependent on the Arena.
This is even worse! - £250 per ticket, whereas I spent £175 per ticket for Birmingham.
The three girls in the pods who hadnt paid for them got them only the night before because there were loads left and her mother was able to just have them for free because they were not selling.0 -

Did you take any photographs from the Pod? These will illustrate any restricted views for us to get a better idea.0

it honestly doesn't matter if every ticket in the arena bar yours were given away for free, nobody forced you to buy them and you were clearly happy to accept the price of them (the sacrifices you've made make no odds).helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

Thank you xx
Yes it was a gripe and probably more hurtful than anything else but certainly not why I want a refund. You are correct in saying I want a refund, or just a note that these should not be advertised in the way that they are. The other people in the pods had worse view as we were on the barrier next to the stage (but behind the stage) so looking at the concert from behind) and they all seemed to just be milling around, on their i-phones.
I just love concerts, and a wide range of artists, and this seating was bad and not as described at all.
I just wanted to know if I had a case, not whether I had bad taste in music/artist etc.0 -

Of course I was happy to buy tickets which promised the best experience !!!0
