Quick question - completely unrelated - if you ordered 10m of velcro would you expect 10m of both the loop and hook side or 5m of each?
    juliejim wrote: »
That's what I thought but I've ordered some from ebay and only been sent 5m.

I bought some from the haberdassers (sp) recently and you don't buy it in top and bottom you buy the whole per meter they are chancing it me thinks!

Your coalition are busy preparing for their term in office and I can assure you there will be no three line whip.

We are offering you a chance in democracy via a referendum so,

Do you want us to stick to lists as they are - Rooms per day and Levels 1-3? I like this

Would you rather we did a week of upstairs and then a week of downstairs? I like this idea too( lot of helpI am)!

Do you like concentrating on a room or would you rather say hoover everywhere one day, wipe everywhere another day.no not liking this

Are you up for some new challenges (these would be optional extras) Yes sounds good if piggers gives you her supply of mules just for me:rotfl:

    x

Right since my last post I have....
    Cleaned the bathroom
    Tidied littles bedroom
    hoovered LR, HALL, Littles room
went back to the laundry put a huge load in
camedown the house grabbed another load walked back up
walked home again stuck the whites in my machine (it's only doing hot wash)
    walked backup
TD all the clothes at laundy
OH picked me up in car(phew don't kow if I could have carried any more)
PUt DD on sofa with a DVD (shes now sleeping)
Decluttered DS1+2 and OH out to toysrus DS1 has cabin fever so he's using some of his own money for more k'nex. (I refuse to pay on the grounds that I could open a k'nex shop!)

I'll try to find my list and update.

I came home and hoovered, emptied and filled the DW, shined my sink (cos it was grim), and made twinks and a rather splendid if i do say so myself fish stew for dinner. With LOTS of veg if Greenbee is reading.

I like challenges - the infamous half term head to head between PenPen and TNG springs to mind, as does Mudbaths 60 in 60. I liked the stars too, although again PenPen holds the crown for that but we were head for head for ages. Fully appreciate though that it was a logistical nightmare. I lose interest in standard lists tbh. Some sort of c'mas challenge would be good.

Old threads Dusty - was my house clean by any chance for months and months whilst we were selling? Hasn't been since but I like to look at the photos and remind myself it is possible.

ETA I also very much miss AnWsmum. Inspiration and a touch of perspective when I needed it, and Soappie who more than once made me do things I cba with.

Read the whole head to head challenge last night :D Yes your house was on inspection alert often and I read the post where I think you found your current home :D So many names came flooding back of daily flyers who have been awol for a long long time.

Waiting for my car to come back as I've spoken to the GP and I need to go and get ABs for DS1 - bloods are inconclusive, could be GF, could be another virus, could be tonsilhellitis :( Great new service at GP, they send script to pharmacy in same building and I can collect anytime up until 10pm tonight :D

    DS3 bedroom done
    Jacket cooking
    Stay pins all polished.

Happy Days - we have lots of photos to remind me just how far we have come. The rock gardens solid with conifers for example that we rapidly realised I am horridly allergic to. The 1970s monstrosity gas fire replaced with the lovely wood burner and original chimney I am looking at now - I remember crying when we found that behind the monster 70s refurbishment. Not that long since we took out the kitchen stairs and pantry walls to fill up the hard core only skip. Hoping to do the kitchen boxing day to new year - real storage cupboards and worktops and everything :j
