OOh DD said 'I didn't know we'd got that an d pointed to a 2L Dr Pepper bottle in the 'cocktail cabinet'
I :eek:ed at her because it's not Dr Pepper it's Sloe Gin 'brewing' or whatever it does. And I had told her...
Could be worse; half empty Doctor Pepper/Sloe Gin bottle and daughter talking to God on the great white telephone...;)‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

:(:(I'd be using a lot of swear words if that happened to me. *Hopes that maybe, just maybe, it'll come to light*
Been to Mr M's this afternoon.:eek:It was mayhem in there! I think people are starting to stock up for the C-word already! Boy, was I glad to get home! Still, we got Mr LW's bottle of Croft Original (he's been having withdrawal symptoms as the decanter's been empty for a couple of days):D and some inexpensive vodka, as he's asked if I'll do sloe vodka this year, as a change from gin. (I refuse to do both).;)
I now need to stop spending money as I'll have to find just short of £1K to pay the Fang Farrier in the next couple of weeks. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Pigpen
Just wanted to again say thank you for all the threads over the years - lost in awe sometimes as to how you managed to squeeze in with everything else you have going on. Your efforts have been appreciated and, for the duration of the stars at least, you did have a major impact on my home. Thankyou.

I have spent all day in the kitchen and it still isn't tidy. Since dinner I have emptied and filled the DW (for the 3rd time today), emptied all the bins, WM filled, TD on, sorted bags for school tomorrow, put stuff in portions in the freezer, whizzed the celery soup and made a start on packed lunches. Many thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Asbo for their fantastic work on this thread.

Thank you all for putting up with my lists which were sometimes evil I know.. I hope they have made a difference to peoples lives and homes and even changed their motivation.. I am staying as my home is probably not much tidier than it was when I started but one day it will be spotless and I will be bored as it will mean my little people will no longer be living here
