Hello everyone,
I am new here, well often read threads but have never posted before eek! This seems like the perfect thread for me - I am struggling with the motivation to do household chores. Mental health up and down over the years, not great at the moment so some lovely friendly people with motivational tips and ideas will be really fantastic!
Look forward to "meeting" you all, enjoy the rest of your weekends xxxx0 -

It'll likely be the prospect of another long dark winter...
That and life being so samey. Not really a black dog though...
You do help, anyway. All of you. Just being here *mwah*
Oh and back to work tomorrow *sigh* so that too.
Still, Christmas term - best place to work with Christmas coming;)
I often feel blue on Sundays anyway - all the frogs not yet munched and all that!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hello all! :hello:
Haven't been on for a while and will never been able to catch up with everyones posts. I spent the last 10 days with the boyfriendish and my girls
I went amazingly well although the girls are still making things very hard for him:(
The house looks like a bomb site!So I'll definitely be in next week.
Don't plan to do too much today, took DD2 to drumming and now DD1 and I are going to look at the budget for the next week as I've totally over spent over the last two weeks
We'll also have a go at the dreaded meal plan
WM is on but everything will have to go on the airer and I need to get my assignment done.0 -
Valli
I know what you mean about life being all the samey, but when I sat and thought about it, I couldn't really come up with anything else I would want to be doing as such, unless I won maga millions£££, then it would be flylady treats all round
!
Anyway
Ironing is done and away
All dusting is done
Ebay stuff listed, need to find more stuff to list
Leaves out of garage
Grand prix being watched
Spuds roasting, to be served with cold chicken and veg / gravy
Going to make an apple crumble as well, using apples in the freezer from the garden.
Dusty, not really on anything as such, but just need to get 'stuff' done, as I am / have been busy recently, so have to crack on when I can, otherwise I spend more time on here 'talking' about what needs to be done, rather than doing it, if that makes sense.
Gardening, might be on hold as it is sort of drizzling, and I am not going to get wet, as I am being a woozzz today!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Good morning
I haven't posted for a couple of days, as I have been busy.
I was out all day yesterday. Art in the morning, walking the dog, collecting DS from MIL 10 miles away & going to town. Then back to unpack shopping & out again to meet up with school friend at Adventure Island. It was a Halloween fright night, with half price wrist bands so was mobbed. I did mange to get both the kids wristbands for £11.50 though :j as DS has a Blue Peter badge & get get in for freeWe left there at 10.30, and I took some parrots for headache & went straight to bed!
This morning I haven't done much except put 1 load in the WM, sort out the washing, have a soak in the bath & that's about it
My list for the rest of the day is:
dry washing
[STRIKE]iron DS's shirts[/STRIKE]
study
walk dog
[STRIKE]send invoice for Miss T & co[/STRIKE]
text Mr C re A&A tomorrow (wellies, dinner?)
sort out my wardrobe & fill a charity bag
text S re taking kids to school tomorrow
Ok. i am off for HHI if anyone cares to join me0 -
That's better - bit of sunshine and blue sky and I feel brighter.
Have used the TD  for towels and bedding but have a bit out on the line now.
Have sold stuff (for school funds) on fleabay - someone got a bargain! and managed to list loads of stuff yesterday (including stuff removed from my sisters during the great 'last 30 years of her life' clearout ) once we've agreed it's going I get it out of her house promptly - unfortunately it means SOME of it ends up here - temporarily;)
We're having a buffet lunch at work tomorrow and I *think* I agreed to make a veggie chilli so need to do that.
And all the best to the Flylady Coalition for your first week in officeDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

WM on with Dots washing.. we have run out of blankets and muslins again! Sicky mickey that she is!
DW done
Recycling stacked ready to go out
Have HV coming tomorrow so I need to sort the front room before someone sends environmental health round
Dot was beastly last night and barely slept tough between dozing she was whining and growling then Squeak decided her mouth was sore so she got up at 7am... I am wondering why I bothered going to bed now I could have stayed up and got loads done rather than lay there for 1000 years and be 10 times more tired now than I was when I went to bedLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
