    Flylady announcement

Your coalition are busy preparing for their term in office and I can assure you there will be no three line whip.

We are offering you a chance in democracy via a referendum so,

Do you want us to stick to lists as they are - Rooms per day and Levels 1-3?

Would you rather we did a week of upstairs and then a week of downstairs?

Do you like concentrating on a room or would you rather say hoover everywhere one day, wipe everywhere another day.

Are you up for some new challenges (these would be optional extras)

We don't want to change anything that is working and you are all happy with but are also willing to modify things if it will be helpful.

Feel free to post on here or pm one of us, thanks Dusty x

Doing all upstairs one week would mean the grotty/well used places like the kitchen and family areas would only be done once a fortnight! My kitchen is bad enough after 2 hours!

I like hopping about the rooms.. that also teds to spur me to do more in each room as well as I cant just dust for example without having to move a hotspot, fill a binbag or tidy a cupboard.

New challenges are always good for kicking people into action... :D

Oooohh. Choices. Rooom by room. A lot of us can't cope with lots of repetitive movement.

  • have been a neglectful flylady and done nothing today so far! well ive slept and helped DH put DVDS in order so we can see at a glance what we have and dont have. However there is still a pile on the spare bed to be sorted out as its empty cases or dvds without cases

Dh has also sorted through all the pc games and misc equipment and chucked a couple of bin bags of rubbish so that counts for something i suppose.

    Re Dusty and choices :)

Do you want us to stick to lists as they are - Rooms per day and Levels 1-3?. I like this, but sometimes feel I end up doing part of whatever I fancy anyway and using the lists as a guideline as Pigpen has managed to whip my house into shape :p

Would you rather we did a week of upstairs and then a week of downstairs? Heck no, but for certain flyladies I can see how a week of company rooms i.e living room, hall, bathroom and a week of non company rooms i.e bedrooms would be good to stop certain people overdoing it.

Do you like concentrating on a room or would you rather say hoover everywhere one day, wipe everywhere another day. I tend to hoover all downstairs on same day and same with upstairs as it kills me to get the hoover out, but I do prefer the lists as I can carry things over that arent done.

Are you up for some new challenges (these would be optional extras) SIGN ME UP FOR THESE, NEED MORE MOTIVATION.

Dusty i know this is asking alot but i would love to have the stars back espically now we're heading for christmas. :o I'm a big child really and i love a swinkly star...:rotfl:

Car cleared out the hoovering and washing can do until another day.. I suppose i best get dinner on and get everyone ready, plan is to leave here by 5.30
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Good afternoon :D

My friend didn't come after all. They ahd spent all morning at the airfield (her twin SS's 18th birthday - they had a flying lesson each! And I don't mean dusting :rotfl:) so they were cold, and the weather looks iffy!

I have sent the kids out with the dog to the park - and it is chucking it down! :rotfl::rotfl:They won't be pleased when they get back.

The LR looks like a bomb has hit it - but it is just one 3 yo girl! She is just tipping out ALL the puzzles as I type :)

Don't know what to do for dinner. DH is working AGAIN tonight :( I have a chicken in the fridge, but the kids are talking about going to their nan's tomorrow, so it looks like I will have to eat it on my own!

ETA Dusty I am happy with the lists by room as they are, but I am up for extra challenges as & when you dream them up! The frog lists were quite helpful :)

Dusty, I like the rooms as they are, especially the different levels.
To be honest I got to the situation where I just worked through the old lists each day and didn't come on here for inspiration much any more so some change would be good to concentrate the mind a bit. Even a challenge might work and despite the fact I have never been able to manage challenges I still enjoy them.
