devon beached - shipwrecked goodies anyone?

Wondering if anyone on here has scavenged 'freebies' from the beached ship of the devon coast?
News all day has been saying hundreds of people were taking things from the beach - including 2 motorbikes, perfume etc etc.
It's apparenly quite legal as long as you 'register' whatever you take incase the owner wants it back.

It made me wonder if anyone here had first hand experience of what looks like a free-for-all down there!

    I saw that too and it would be awesome!!! I wish I lived there. It's like legal looting, I've always wanted to do that. If anyone has got anything please post the stories so that I can experience the magic through you :D

    Just got a new BMW bike, lol

    Good luck to them I do if if I was there. Love that area, Sidmouth is a lovely place along with Bear had greta holidays round there with kids

    Best we ever got was bag loads of plums when a lorry went over on the roundabout by us - that was 20 odd years ago!

    Perhaps it's Jade Goody's perfume, and it's been dumped deliberately? ;)
