  • Did anyone else apply immediately, get confirmation, and then not receive tickets?
I phoned fcc today, who checked their database and told me I'd applied too late. However, the people I told about the deal, and who applied later than me, did receive tickets.
    It seems a bit strange.
  • Confirmation of what? That you had entered or won? I think it was technically run as a competition-style thing, so only 5,000 (dunno if first 5,000 or random draw) people got free tickets.

The FCC route map shows the Luton Airport Parkway to the actual airport bus link as 'through tickets available' and FCC's site says 'Remember to buy a ticket to/from Luton Airport (rather than Luton or Luton Airport Parkway) to include the cost of the shuttle bus.', so I reckon if you write Luton Airport on your tickets you're fine.
Travelling next week to Luton airport, so going to try that, hope wont be paying for shuttle bus : )
  • Just wondering if I could use tickets for me and my children to travel together. Realise they run out end of month. If they are not valid for children it will cost almost as much to buy 2 child tickets. Anyone know? Thanks

FCC runs a scheme where with a full paying adult, up to 4 additional children can travel for only £2 return! So no need to rush before the end of decemeber

However its always nice to be thanked if you feel mine and other people's posts here offer great advice:D So hit the button if you likey:rotfl:
  • Thank you for that. Just wondering whether if they are not valid whether I will have to pay full fare for children which would only be £4 less than cost for all 4 of us.
Will check at ticket office today.
    Thank you.
