It has been on the front page of the FCC website for a few days.
Want to explain why I should check the website daily? I travel on their service and apart from one poster that I spotted on the opposite platform last night there was no mention of this anywhere on the side I was waiting.Jeff_Bridges_hair wrote: »I think they all got an email shot out yesterday before it even MSE sent theirs out this morning though keith.
And it was on other places too yesterday.
I didn't get an email. But then again, every time I do Delay Repay it seems to have forgotten me.
Why should I be annoyed? I mean I only pay the company over £3k to use their service daily.0 -
That sounds the most likely scenario to me. If it were just a simple competition with 5 winners they would not need to restrict the number of entrants.Jeff_Bridges_hair wrote: »Nice. Wonder if these will just be the left over scrahcards that FCC used to give to season ticket holders.Stompa0 -
Perhaps you [STRIKE]could[/STRIKE] should subscribe to the email?I love how MSE sends out an email to all 6 million subscribers, yet those who use the FCC line are directed to the offer by a single poster on one platform at SPI.
They're after new customers... you are already hooked.

I used to be a Thameslink commuter too, thankfully I left that hellish nightmare behind last year. Might end up going back to it soon though, a prospect which fills me with dread.A Thameslink commuter by any chance?
The FCC service I use on their Great Northern route runs almost perfectly to time. I can't recall the last time the train was late arriving at my station in the morning, and I can't recall the last time it arrived more than a couple of minutes late into London. And on the return home, apart from the incident with the rats eating the signal cables a few weeks ago when all services out of Kings Cross were suspended, the train leaves on time every day, and I have only been more than a couple of minutes late home on one occasion in the last few months.
And I always get a seat both ways.
It isn't cheap though.
Oh, and I'd enjoy the good Great Northern service while it lasts. First Crappy plan to integrate the Thameslink, Great Northern, SouthEastern and East Coast mainline services over the next few years, so instead of a Thameslink core failure knocking out one train company's services, it'll affect all 4 (plus the usual knock-on effects to London Midland and Southern). This isn't helped, of course, by Thameslink and SouthEastern being two of the least reliable services in the entire country. It's an utterly barmy plan which will end in complete disaster, but it's still going ahead

Duh, perhaps to see offers like this?I didn't get an email.
Neither did I, but then again I look at their website. But then again, every time I do Delay Repay it seems to have forgotten me.
Perhaps they are trying to tell you something, as it always works for me.Why should I be annoyed? I mean I only pay the company over £3k to use their service daily.
That little? I pay them three times as much.0 -
I registered as soon as I saw it on the site and before the closing date - just received email from them this morning Thank you for your email of 19 October 2011, regarding the registration for 5 free return ticket on our website.
I can confirm that this offer was valid till 31 October 2011 however as a result of heavy demand the allocated limit of complimentary tickets has been reached and this is why you are unable to log your preferences on our website. Please accept my apology for the inconvenience caused by this
They should be clear about this at first now I guess Ill be getting loads of spam off them to buy tickets

Mine arrived today :T. Can be used for anyone (not just the claiment) including children on any FCC route, any day, any time including peak times. :T:T
They are 'scratchcards' , valid for 2010 & 2011, so I assume identical to the ones given away with annual season tickets as described in earlier posts.
I bet a few end up on Ebay
