Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

I received mine today as well. I ordered it to go from London to Brighton but tickets doesnt say that, actually I have to put Origin: and Destination: every time I travel. Does it mean I can go to any city within of course First capital connect map? Like i wanna go London - Cambridge, London - Luton and I have to return same day? Sounds good to me.0

I'd been wondering that. It explicitly states on the back of the ticket 'Not valid on London Underground or DLR services'. But then again: (Link to FCC Website) says:
Crossing and travelling to/from central London (First Capital Connect tickets can be used for travel on these routes): Please use the following routes:- Northern line between Kentish Town, King's Cross St Pancras, London Bridge and Elephant & Castle
- Jubilee line between West Hampstead and London Bridge
FCC are CORRECT in what they say, so no guessing required.
It is normal practice in London (All Zones) that where, say a train ticket, cannot be used due to service failure or engineering works then the ticket is valid on alternate methods of transport, eg tube or bus. The only problem occurs is when London Transport don't tell their staff that the tickets are valid and 'discussions' with staff then become neccessary. This only normally happens when there is a sudden loss of service and staff don't know about it.
However as these engineering works have been going on for a considerable time, and will continue to do so, the staff should be knowledgable about it. When I use the tickets I'll print the appropriate page from the FCC website and take it with me; just in case.0 -

Someone on a local selling group has just put three of their five tickets up for sale for £50! Seller even said they were complimentary!
Why can't people just enjoy the gift and use it? I plan on using all five of my tickets, there's so much to do in London!0 -
Anyone used their complimentary tickets yet? Any challenges? I was thinking of doing a journey originating from New Southgate - Brighton but I am not sure if this is valid, since it would involve getting off at London Kings Cross, then going from St Pancras Intl to connect with trains to Brighton. Please let me know what you think

Cambridge to Kings Cross
Kings Cross to London Bridge (Northern Line, as Thameslink closed)
London Bridge to Brighton
I passed through 12 barriers and was waved through each time, no problems at all. The only thing I'd suggest is to allow yourself a few more minutes, as the manned gates tend to be a little slower than the automatic barriers.
So your intended journey should be fine.Stompa0
