Finally got my tracking info for both itunes purchases that I did. I suppose I should have been patient and waited for the first one to track but didnt think it was going to!

Is it 35 days from the initial purchase that we have to wait for the 1500 points? or 35 days from the date it tracked/we were notified?

Hope everyone elses purchases have tracked now.

I am so lost, when i first recieved my voucher i entered my code in the section but didnt go through with a transaction.
Ive logged again today, am i meant to put my voucher code in again or will it remember. I think i recall something about only entering it once?

Yes I think it's just the once. Some have said when they tried to reenter it when making another purchase they got a message to say the code had already been used.
  • Hi guys,

We want to apologise for the delay with iTunes transactions, and any other problems you've had redeeming your living social codes. We had an issue with iTunes not reporting transactions to us which unfortunately occurred at the same time as the Living Social offer, as you've seen, we've now fixed this issue and most of your 1500 points are now appearing in your account.

For any customers who are still having issues in the next couple of days, the best thing to do is contact Boots customer care by phone on 0845 121 2837 - they are open till 7pm weeknights and are always very helpful
    thanks, Boots

Its not just an issue with itunes, I have tried several times, mothercare, ebay, play, not a single one has tracked although I have not had any problems in the past with treat street. I emailed and got a generic 'your doing it wrong email' when it's a fault your end. I'm not calling a premium rate number and footing the bill when it's your error. Boots in general have gone downhill service wise recently and it's no suprise that treat street has headed the same way. I shall be sticking with a reliable cash back website instead of treat street who seem to think generic emails blaming the customer is good service. pfffft.

If I could thank this post more than once I would! Could not have put it better myself! I have so far had one itunes purchase and FOUR play.com purchases fail to track. As far as I am concerned, I've lost the £5 this deal cost me as I'm not spending anymore trying to get it to work.

  • I'm actually going to scream!!!
Purchased a track from itunes on 20th Oct, got receipt from them on 27th Oct.
E-mailed boots to see what had happened and they sent me back the generic e-mail telling me how to put the promotional code in!

  • To the folks that have still to get their 1500 points. Please do not give up hope. I made a 99p purchase through Ebay and initially never received my points. I sent them 3 emails the third of which was actually a bit of a rant about their shocking customer care. I received an email from Boots apologising and giving me my 1500 points straight away. I just needed to go to one of their kiosks to have the points added. I did this at the weekend, no problem. PLEASE KEEP ON AT THEM! :)

i had this email this morning from boots after 3 attempts at trying to get my points from them! hope it helps someone.

    Hi

Thanks for your further email. I do apologise you didn't receive a response from us.

Due to a technical error your transaction was missed from Treat Street. I'm afraid that as the transaction was under ?1.00 the website didn't pick up the fact a genuine purchase was made. I can appreciate this is disappointing and we've now got everything fixed.

I've manually added a recent transaction to your Treat Street account, which will now activate the Living Social Voucher bonus points. Please be aware that these points can take up to 48 hours after standard points to appear in your account. Once you have received these you will be able to collect them from any Advantage Card extra offers kiosk machine located in many of our larger stores.

Thanks again for contacting us. If we can be of further help please don't hesitate to contact me on 0845 609 0055

    Many thanks

Hi Hannah - its 35 days from the day you placed your order (you'll also get sent an email from Treat Street to let you know when the points are available at the kiosk to be collected)

    thanks, Boots

Response from Boots on orders under £1

Hi guys - You're correct that there was a problem with the Living Social deal where orders of under a £1 did not track in our system. This mainly affects itunes, which has now been rectified. If you purchased from eBay or another retailer and spent under £1, the best thing to do, unless you need to make another online purchase of over £1 anyway, is to contact Boots customer care on 0845 121 2837 and they will manually award the 1500 points to your account. If you spent over £1 and your transaction still doesn't seem to have tracked then the best thing to do is again contact customer care who can check your account and see what the status of your transaction is and manually award the points if necessary.

We can't apologise enough for the inconvenience caused to those of you who had issues with their transactions

    thanks, Boots
