This is just plain wrong, of course you can't see the wind but you feel its actions, and you can't see the love of your family but you feel it. However you see no actions or effects of god in the world whatsoever, because there aren't any, what you're seeing are the beautiful and elegant effects of physics and evolution.

Not evolution and God is the one who created the world and therefore the laws of physics. ;)

Nope wrong again, there is no god thankfully, have you read the old testament? He is probably the most odious character ever created in all fiction. Incidentally are you one of those christians who thinks the universe is only 5000 years old too?

Good grief, some people are acting as if a christening is a sort of evil ceremony where the soul is promised to the dark side - do let's all get a grip.
You summed it up quite nicely there.

I'm sorry, but you sound mad. Not only in this post either. Your complete inability to see the world from anyone else's point of view is disturbing.

Don't get me wrong, you're entitled to your faith.

Just stop ramming it down my throat.

That's your view fine but many people myself included are well aware that God does exist. He is not a fictional creation.

No I don't believe the earth is only 5000 years old.

I can see the world from a different viewpoint, it just isn't my viewpoint. You however can't accept that my view is just as valid as yours.

I have never rammed my faith down your throat, merely answered questions.

I don't think you can say that a child is a "Christian child" (or "Muslim child" or "Atheist child") until they have stated for themselves that they are, with a full understanding of what that means.

Which I think that many believing children do.

That's because it's not valid, not at all. It is would not even be worth talking about, if it were not for the fact that so many of us are deluded just like you, and seek to use their beliefs and the power that comes from their numbers to ruin the rest of our lives. What is your faith based on?
