I always put cinnamon in my curry, and that has apple and chicken in it!

    Yummy!

I put either cinnamon or mixed spice in my porridge with apples and raisins - the other day I just caught myself before adding all spice... not sure that would have been so nice!

katep, I've been using Garam Masala in my cakes for ages now. I really ought to start using up some of the "normal" baking spices now so I can get some space back in my cupboard :o

  • I use huge amounts of cinnamon - I love it. Costco sell it in nice big containers. I have it on my porridge, used for granola and my favourite is apple and cinnamon crumble.

I'd really love to make cinnamon rolls (the danish pasrty type with the runny icing) but I've never got round to it. I'm not doing Christmas dinner this year - maybe I could do cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Christmas morning

    Now THAT's a good idea :T

I was looking for something special that was not a croissant - so hard to get decent croissants in this country (pretentious - moi? :rotfl:) but i didn't want the full blown fry up. Hmm, recipe? or Ikea!

  • I was thinking of trying this recipe as it had no yeast. Of course I'll need to do a trial run first!

Cinnamon rolls and champagne cocktails - what could be better?? Of course hubby's answer would be a bacon roll with HP sauce and a cup of builders tea. I've really tried to give him a bit of class but it's a lost cause:D
