But wouldn't they have our payment information in our accounts?0 -
I bought a bag as well so have called and cancelled the order as not paying £8 for a bag. A very depressed sounding man cancelled it with no problems0

Could you tell us if they asked for your card details over the phone?
I am not happy to give these details over the phone and have emailed them to ask as if there is a way they can do a refund without having to to do this, but as yet have not had a response.:hello: “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” anon.0 -
Surely it's illegal, how can they charge your card a delivery charge when they aren't sending anything.
My understanding is that cards are only charged when an item is despatched,so as they are not despatching anything i can't see how they are allowed to do it.0 -
Yep, me too. I have physically had my delivery charge leave my bank account despite there being no intention of any dispatch. I thought this was illegal and have sent them an e-mail with my order number in it requesting an immediate refund. I have no intention of 'phoning to cancel an order as they have acted, at best, irresponsibly in taking money with no intent to fulfil the order. If I do not receive a refund this way, I will look into the legality of their practice as it does seem to warrant a complaint to trading standards.0

I've still not had a cancellation email, my online order does not show any items except the postage. Now it could be that its cancelled or it could be due to them removing the linked item from the website it no longer shows I have no idea seeing as I've had no email to tell me. Had I not checked back on this thread I'd be unaware of the request to phone for a refund. I'm going to wait a couple of days and check back here for updates.0

and they are going to call me back tomorrow I hope I can still cancel the order as I don't want to pay £12.70 for a small box of fudge that's not very MSE!
I have paid £12.70 for one box of fudgeit arrived yesterday (19th) even though the nominated delivery wasn't until the 20th.
I received the cancellation email on the 18th and I called to cancel the same day and as I said in my previous post they said they would call me back the next day but by then it was too late as the order had been sent early, when the lady did call me she said it was too late to cancel my order had been sent out I told her it had already arrived and I wasn't very happy as I had tried to cancel the day the email was sent she said 'what email?' :wall: I have now forwarded the email to her and asked for the postage to be refunded but I won't hold my breath...☆*''*•. Still heard absolutely nothing. This is even though I've sent 2 messages through their online form asking for more information.
So come Friday / Monday they're going to get a grumpy phone call.
Edit: And have just been sent a grumpy email asking them what is going on and noting their lack of customer service.
I don't mind losing the grabbit....easy come easy go. What I do get grizzly about is a company that ignores people's messages. If I only lose the delivery charge then so be it. But I won't use this lot again!Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I've sent them an email yesterday too saying how rude of them to charge P&P if they have cancelled the order!
I am still waiting to hear back from them...
Is there an option to leave a feedback on their website or any other review/feedback websites?
I don't mind not getting the toffee but it's the first time anyone has actually charged P&P fee without sending out anything!0 -
I have had the money taken from my account £2.95 p&p.
No cancellation email, no cancellation phone call nothing:huh:Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
