    my email didn't say that
Correct, what it did say was that if you ordered additional items they would continue to send THOSE items...so if you chucked for example a candy bar in that's all you will get, a candy bar.

im confused, if they have taken our money then according to THEIR t&c's a contract is formed

    The contract between us

When you place an order to purchase items using our Website this is an offer by you to us to purchase such items. By ordering you are providing details which are true, accurate, current and complete and that the credit or debit card details are correct and your own.
We will confirm receipt of your order by sending you an email summarising the details of your order ('Order Confirmation E-mail'); this is the point at which we accept your order and the contract is formed. .

i can honestly say that i will not purchase anything from them ever again - and i will not allow my OH to use them in future either, even though i love their treatments at Beauty a la Carte, still got a freebie to use for that anyone want it ! my birtday treat from them to me............

Indeed the toffs are being stingy with their toffee.

Erm......what happens if you haven't got a cancellation email? Cos I've checked and there isn't one there.

Is anyone else in this boat?

I haven't had anything either. I ordered an "exploding toad"! with mine and I notice that if I go into my order on the website it now shows just the toad - but I haven't had anything to tell me this. I am sure the email will be here soon though.

Usually the process where a transaction is authorised by the bank, then gets held, if unclaimed it drops off of the hold. If they need to refund then that means they are claiming the funds? In which case payment has been made, if payment has been taken then shouldn't they honour the sale?
  • I also received the cancellation email, I ordered 4 boxes of toffee and one box of fudge for £5.75 I chose nominated delivery (20th Oct) at £6.95 the email said the toffee is cancelled but any other items will still be delivered so I called up to cancel :o and they are going to call me back tomorrow I hope I can still cancel the order as I don't want to pay £12.70 for a small box of fudge that's not very MSE!
