I got the same email as AcR this morning but there is no refund! Sent them another email... However it took them 2 weeks to reply to this one so it might be a long wait again...
I'm not that bothered about this amount of money I am just mad that they claim it without the intention of sending off anything! Surely it's theft?! Other companies usually claim the reserved funds at the time of despatching an order so I really don't get it...
Anyone could advise as where to complain about it? TIA0 -
I received one email message saying i will be refunded it takes 3-5 days etc,then that date elapsed and i received another email from another CS advisor who said they can't refund me as they don't hold CC details so i will have to ring them to get it.
So how come some people have been automatically refunded from here,what a joke of a company this is grrr0 -
I rang & cancelled approx 17/10 - still appeared on my cc bill last week :mad: despite assurances that refund would be done.
So rang last week & gave card info again (as their system does not hold it)
Had 2 missed calls (no msg left) on the mobile today, finally got 3rd call - it's F&M - wrong card info - can we have it again...
By this time I was not a happy bunny (as 3rd time of giving refund info over the phone) , spoke to supervisor, requested higher refund due to their naff service.
Ooh we can't do that, not in the company policy

Asked where the policy was on giving naff service for a company with the stature of F&M....reply....mumble mumble mumble....
Asked for CEO details, they started to give me their supervisors info.
I again, spelled it out - C-E-O i.e. your chairman....
ooh suddenlly - yes we CAN increase your refund due to the inconvinience - thank you so much (why did it take F&M CS so long??)
Anyway - please check your CC/debit bills just in case you have not been refunded.
They do advise that CC numbers not stored so they have to request them again.....

Anyone else still not got their refund? I've just royally kicked off at theis CS department and they're going to check it out and phone me back tomorrow.
I've told them just to send the damn order and then remove me from their mailing lists as I'll never darken their door again. Let's see what happens in the morning.
As they've not taken and not refunded my money, does anyone know if they should honour the order legally?0 -

emailed them 3 times, 1st reply was it's been now refunded - it wasn't!!!, second to give them a call or give them my details to contact me - nothing!
they still have my money!
surely they can't just claim the money, not send anything and not refund it?!

Didn't get a phonecall today as promised so phoned again tonight! Almost had a reasonable conversation with a CS person and they suggested as I'd been messed about that they call me back in 10 mins. 1 hour later I was still waiting and phoned back. Had to start all over again and got absolutely nowhere.
Eventually got them to understand that I would not be providing my card details for a 3rd time over the phone and that they would be sending me a cheque. When I asked for more than the original p&p price as compansation for the constant cockups and the fact they've had my money for a month I was passed to a supervisor and given the CEO details when asked.
I WILL be writing to their CEO because I couldn't care less if it was poundland or F&M, their customer service is shockingly bad!!!

I am still waiting on my refund - they even emailed me and said I had been refunded - liars.
Sick of their lies and they are now ignoring me so I have contacted Consumer Direct. I don't care that it's just a small amount of money - it's the principle especially from such a snooty company.0 -
I emailed again today as they are supposed to be sending me a cheque and still nothing,the email said it's being dealt with arghhh
