I've been charged the p&p even though I phoned up for a refund last week. Have phoned them again to request it. Will have to see if they can bring themselves to give me my full £2.95 back .

Have just received this email from them, 10 days since I emailed them. I have already been automatically refunded.

"Thank you for contacting Fortnum and Mason.

I apologise for the delay of this email, we have been experiencing a high volume of correspondence recently and I apologise for its impact on the reply to this email.

Due to a pricing error on our website we were unable to deliver orders of product, Toffee 1lb. We apologise for this inconvenience and assure you that the delivery charge has now been fully refunded.

At Fortnum and Mason we endeavour to produce a high level of service, which has not been achieved on this occasion. Please do not see this as a reflection of our otherwise proud level of service.

If we can help you in any other way, please do not hesitate to contact us."

Only just realised they took £2.95 from my credit card on 17th October. No toffee and no refund. Not impressed at having to spend time emailing them about it.

Have forgotten all about this ....... just checked my bank account and they have refunded postage on 29th Oct .... i've never emailed or called them, so they must be clearing the back log?

No e-mail and no refund here yet. I have e-mailed them three times now, disgusted.
