  • @Frogletina - don't deny yourself anything. That's the quickest way to fall off the wagon. Buy some really good dark chocolate with a high cocoa solid. It's much lower in fat than stuff like Dairy Milk and you really only need one or two squares to have a massive chocolate hit. Also jaffa cakes are quite low in fat, provided you don't eat the whole tube! And I eat Flumps as a treat when I'm trying to lose weight.

Looking at this; I should point out that I've yet to lose any weight! Maybe you should ignore me....

    Thanks, millionaire in training

My birthday is just before Christmas so I'll have to be careful then. I do like hot chocolate, and I've not said I'll not have that, but I think I will have to ration it to once or twice a week

I have boxes of Guylian in the house, which I love, but I will have to see them as presents for the time being and resist them. I could almost eat a box at one sitting, and once I almost did

Hey and my birthday is just before Christmas too! Mine is the 13th, so will have to hide the chocolate and wine I usually get given....

MMMMMM boxes of Guylian, I love them......can't ever just eat one, I have to have one of each shape..

"We are just going to have some fun along the way with this. I have no doubt come Christmas we will head for Easter trying not to look like eggs or something similar"

Ha ha, I am already egg shaped, just need a gold dress and a ribbon and will look like Easter has come early.....

  • Well fairly active for me with some tidying and ironing. Wanted to bake but didnt have much in and waiting for a house inspection some managed to make some wholemeal bread sticks. So today I have eaten kitkat, 2/5 yorkie, 7 small breadshicks... oh no wonder Im hungry. Just about to cook dinner so will see what that brings. Did buy some apples at the shop so hope I can be storng to eat those rather than the quick suger fix.

Weighed myself earlier but had clothes on. Was ok but need to see what the real figure is later. I always weigh at the end of a day for a more realistic figure.

    Hi everyone,

Hope everyone's Monday has gone well :-)

I'm not putting my weekend food diary on here as I doubt it would inspire anyone, lol!

Today I've had one slice of toast for breakfast, apple for snack, chicken and mayo full fat sarnie for lunch, few pumpkin seeds for snack, twix 3pm ish (starting to see a pattern here already!!), four fig roll biscuits to fill gap between getting home and making tea.

I did 30 mins of my Tracy Anderson DVD (toning rather than cardio). Planning of having chicken stirfry with veg and noodles for tea.

I think I need to have some healthy snacks waiting for me by the door for when I get home from work as that's when I can end up pigging out.

Well done, just think of how you'll look in your dress, helps the willpower.
  • :jI have got on it at last. Long may it last. I'll get into that bl**dy dress if it kills me. Food as follows
    B-fast-2 toast and banana
    Snack- Apple
Lunch- 2 bread, chicken l.f mayo, apple, 2 swizzel lollies
    Snack - quavers
    Dinner- pasta with cheese sauce
    Supper- crisps, 2 meringue nests

This is a massive decrease on what I was eating. Iput on 2lbs this week and tbh I was lucky to get away with that. Been peeing all day so that must be good. TMI?? :rotfl:Tough :rotfl:
