Right ladies- got to up this game- just blubbed all over the nurse (asthma clinic) after she weighed me and told me oh so genlty i've put on 2 stone in 3 years (more like 1 stone in 1 yr)
I am disgusted with myself- it's always more of a big- VERY BIG deal when it all becomes medical isn't it. Now i know exactly how you feel millionaire!
I'm ashamed of myself and it's made me very upset.Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Good luck with that Frogletina. Hi Angry- Bear. Of course you can join. The more the merrier
. And I need someone to keep me company past Christmas as I will be doing this for a while. Well done on all your exercising. I really must dust down the wii
I'm doing good so far today. I'm off work for a few days as DS is going into hospital tomorrow for a small procedure on his ear . I hate going in with him and last time I called my mum when he went down to theatre crying my eyes out so bad I could hardly speakso I reckon there has been some discussion and my brother is coming with me to hold me up :rotfl:. The last op was a biggie mind you and this is just a wee one so we will be fine. I'm just so nervous.
The peeing has settled down now :rotfl:so hopefully it will be plain old fat coming off from now on.
Ziggles the fire is well and truly lit under my bum now. I also have some fat on my liver, and I'm not really a drinker , so I need to get a grip and sort myself out.

Like most fat people, I love food and hate exercise. But I know that the only way to lose weight is to make sure that food in < exercise out. So I thought about it for a bit and decided that I love food more than I hate exercise. I have to make sure that whatever I’m doing, I can keep it up long term, I don’t think I could live nibbling and depriving myself of my faves for ever.
30 minutes step might be boring beyond belief, but it’s also a small Dairy Milk
@ ziggles: Try to turn it into motivation. Beating yourself over the head just makes you feel crappy, try to turn it into motivation if you can. Personally, I know I’ve got a lot to lose, but every drop of my BMI is a win and I’ve set myself lots of little goals (and non-food based rewards) along the way. (Ooh, and spreadsheet with little graphs)

@Angry Bear - well done on your weight loss so far! That's really good.
@Ziggles - Crying is good for you. It genuinely is a good toxin eliminator! Now dust yourself off and turn the horrid feelings into energy to lose the weight you put on. Two stone in three years is not that awful. You could easily lose two stone in a third of that time!
These food diaries are all very well but they're making me hungry! Mine makes for pretty poor reading today. Too many fatty snacks at work. Sausage rolls, flapjacks, brownies, biscuits - they've all found their way down my throat today!
Does anyone use www.caloriecount.com? I only discovered it yesterday but it's really useful. It's definitely making me think more about what I eat.
Also, a quick straw poll - what time of day does everyone weigh themselves? I've always been a first thing in the morning kinda gal. (Mostly because I'm at my lightest and it makes me feel better). I've discovered I can easily put on 4lb or more over the day and that takes me away from the half stone mark and much closer to the next stone mark! Bad times.....0 -
I 'weigh myself' at about 7.15pm on a Tuesday as that's when my weightwatchers class is!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

Darn. It is charity day in my office .... and now the kitchen is full of goodies (which seem to mostly consist of pink, glittery sugar).
I've already succumbed to a cupcake and a gingerbread man but if I don't find some willpower soon even a night on the wii won't be enough to save me.
So far:
Breakfast: skipped
Lunch: Chicken Tikka panini, salt and vinegar crisps
Dinner: (chicken dopiaza and couscous planned)
Snacks:cup of tea,
cup of green tea,
cupcake
gingerbread man
Exercise: (none yet)
