My food diary today, which is going to get far worse..got a heavy wine and food weekend ahead. I have planned all meals for next week and will do the shopping on Sunday.

Breakfast: 2 pieces hovis best of both seeded bread toasted with butter
Snack: Apple which has been on my desk for 4 days, very soft..
Lunch: Granary roll with ham, salad and salad cream (from the local deli) and a bag of french fries. Delicious, and paid for by boss, doubly delicious.
Dinner: At my friends so don't know yet, followed by at least a bottle and half of wine each.

Tomorrow again at friends for dinner (roast chicken etc) followed by cider and pub quiz with pints of Cider.

Sunday: Gaviscon and paracetamols in no particular order.

Next week back on WW no-count. Will be cutting out the wine completely (one bottle left in cupboard) and will have gin and slimline tonic if I feel the need (ususally most days after work). Minimal bread and no chips or pizza.

Prawny, when I did the WW no-count before I always had a "treat" day, gives you something to look forward too. Mine is usually a Saturday or a Sunday depending on plans over the weekend.

Ladies, just being nosy here, what do you all do for jobs and what are you wearing for your Xmas parties and more importantly what are you wearing?

I am an office manager for a Wealth Management company in Warwickshire. I have ordered a jumpsuit from Bravissimo (my friends works there so I got it half price :T) We are venturing to Nottingham for the night out, one of my bosses lives up that way and decided that is where we are going this year. They have paid for a nice hotel for me and my work colleague, who is about 6 1/2 stone soaking wet :(, although I hope I never become as obsessive as her over food, she is very petite and only 5 foot tall, so have no aspiration to look like her at all.

Have just been to the hospital with a poorly knee, diagnosed with femoral patella syndrome, and advised to take any exercise carefully until MRI scan and x-rays have been done and the results are back. So will now need to be extra carefull with anything that passes my lips, as there won't be enough exercise to warrant any extra calories. :( Not that I did much anyway, but every little helps.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

I work in construction (although office based). Our christmas do hasn't been sorted yet, but I'll probably wear a jumper dress / leggings / knee high boots combo. I have a burgundy jumper dress that looks fairly festive. I'll probably dress it up with either a long necklace or a chunky belt.

I have to be careful at our do's as I work in an office full of men and have had unwanted attention before. I have found, however, that since I've started losing weight I've started to gain a bit of confidence and have started wearing clothes that do show my figure a little. I was amazed on my wedding day that I actually have a defined waist! :rotfl:

  • joesaunt - just a quick note, actually... Looking at your signature, your weightloss target is DEFINITELY achievable. I started weight watchers a little over 5 weeks ago with a starting weight of 176lb. I'm now 163.5lb (or at least I was on Tuesday - hoping it's less now!)

    Thanks!

When I went to WW (about 4 years ago) I was 171lb, lost 21lb, which took me to 10st 10lb. Now I am into my 40's, I like being a bit curvier, so don't want to get down to that again as looking back on photo's I think I looked a bit scrawny.

I just need some help, such as this thread to keep me on track and off the wine, which is my downfall.

I too work in an office full of men, it can have it's good points :rotfl:

    Have you recently got married?

Would imagine there will be a fry up somewhere on Sunday!

Ours is only a small office, 3 male bosses and a female colleague (skinny one as above), I am the only single one, but the second oldest. We do have a good time when we go out, no-one talks about work, there is usually a good atmosphere.

  • Well Im likely to be out of a job at xmas but currently work for a bank just not branch based. It long hours and stressful so my weight has piled on in the last few years. Still a bit tearful today and not with it so appetite has gone. Todays eats are 2 mince pies and just about to have half lasange and chips. Alton towers tomorrow so all that walking will burn up a good few calories. Sunday onwards aim is to plan a bit and eat healthier.

For the do I was planning to wear whatever fitted hoping it was one of the nice outfits I have kept over the years. Im still goona lose weight to help with fitness and confidence. You never know I might still have somewhere to go!!

PS well done everyone on weightlose to date.
