  • Can I join please? Ideally I want to lose at least a(nother) stone by mid December. I must warn you though, ladies, I am currently on the wagon..... Although all this talk of triple chocolate mars bars ain't half tempting me! I'd like to have lost a dress size by then, so that's my motivator.

  • Hi KP. And hi clearing out my pockets. Maybe you'll inspire us all then if you are on the wagon. I was terrible again today. I was actually trawling the office for sweets :o. I took my fruit and sandwiches with me but at 1st break my friend had some birthday cake and I folded like a pack of cards. I didn't even make a token gesture of saying no and then caving. I just caved and then took the biggest bit with the ost icing. What the h*ll is wrong with me :rotfl:. Ok onwards and upwards again. One of these days I will get on it and once I start then I will do it fine. I just need to get started.

    I weighed myself- got a rude shock to find i'm up 2 pounds from last week??????
    i was very good today though- very healthy and packed no snacks so i had NO opportunity to eat crap- then the evening came.....and the plan was to have a nap then some pasta then chill then bed ;-*
    So i had pizza and wine with my landlady for supper....someone please rescue me from myself!

    Pizza and wine hmm :rotfl:. I had macaroni and cheese which is not any better but I didnt have wine. I did have 4 ginger nuts though :o. Also had apple pie and custard at lunch. Reckoned the apples were 1 of my 5 a day and milk in the custard has to be good for me :o

    Stop right now. That's half a week wasted for me at least so back on the wagon!
    I was very good today. Even got a small wispa and nibbled the edge and stored it for later. Only slip was a serving of dry cereal before my supper:p But because i had hardly anything today i should be fine!

  • so far although very slow progress the way Im doing it is by still eating when I want even naughty stuff but reducing the portions and only eating when I feel like it not when I should eat. Its not the best balance diet but its better than the usual see food diet!

    Good luck everyone each day is a new start so dont write the week off on a few bad days.

  • Now now, ladies.... Being on a diet (or healthy eating regime as I'm calling mine - the D word is banned in our house) doesn't mean you can't treat yourself. It just means you can't treat yourself every day! I've lost 12.5lb since 12th September and in that time I've been to Cafe Rouge, Giraffe, Nandos and had take away Pizza Hut.

    Count me in too.

    Our Xmas do is on 16th Dec and I am FAT!

    Not starting till Monday though, got a heavy weekend with friends, food and alcohol ahead, might as well pack another few pounds on first :eek: :beer: :rotfl:

    Really need to loose 2 stone, but will settle for a stone this side of Xmas, any more is a bonus.

    Is anyone going to post a food diary on here? I did WW no count a few years ago, loved it and lost 3 stone, will be doing that again and this time, it will stay off......:rotfl:
