Ooh this is ideal for me!

My work xmas do is on the 16th Dec and have realised that's 8 weeks away.

I've got a couple of size eight dresses that would be ideal but I'm currently a large 12 on my bottom half.

Don't know if it's possible in eight weeks but I'll give it a go!

I'm going to try eat more healthily and do some exercise.

    Good luck everyone.

Eeek, I've just looked up the size guide for size eights at M&S (where I bought one of the dresses from).

The waist is 26 inches. Last time I measured mine it was 30 inches! I'm not sure it's possible to lose that much in 8 weeks.

I'm now hoping that I actually bought a size 10 (although that's only 27 inches waist). I bought the dress a few years ago when I was thinner just never had chance to wear it.
  • I've just come across the bit in my spending diary where I was keeping note of my weight loss prior to the summer :(I am the same weight as I was in May :(. I've achieved zero loss over the summer and autumn. I really need to pick up the pace. I think I will make a pot of soup at the weekend and just start having that every lunch time. If I stick to porridge for breakfast then I will be being frugal as well as healthy.

Welcome newbies. I am soooooooo not brave enough to put my weight in my siggy but put it this way when I watch biggest loser I check who is closest in weight to me so I can get an idea of what I look like :o. I have lost 36lbs since being in Benidorm last November. It was up to 48lbs but I have put on 12lbs without even trying :rotfl:. I need to halt this now as I have thrown out or given away all my bigger clothes and I really cant afford to buy new ones. I went to ASDA tonight and bought a bag of marshmallows and ate the whole pack. Help me

    Morning Ladies!

I'm aiming to let myself have one 'treat' a day. So today I'm having fish and chips for tea so that will be today's treat. Problem is I can hear the biscuits/chocolate calling me!
