I dont remember telling you it before, I have no idea who you are, I can only relate to questions and discussions on these forums with my own experiences of EDF, and just to clarify, I have never said Ive got through to them on the phone ins seconds, a few minutes, yes, Not sure whether I like the tone of your post to be quite honest. I like to give credit where its is due and for me EDF is given credit as well as Sky tV and American Express, who also give me excellent customer service.

Simply pointing out that you have posted the same message on many threads, where EDF customers are having horrendous problems, with many aspects including phone response times. EDF have even recognised it themselves and put messages to that effect on their own website.

You can write what you want ,of course, but if you are out of touch with the reality, it seems a bit pointless to keep saying you have experienced what many others would expect to, but haven't.:)

Not sure why you are so offended.

I have always had good experiences with EDF, there Ive said it again.

Im not actually sure what your point is to be honest.

Why are you banging onto me, all I'm relating is my experences with EDF.

Dont you actually have better things to do than trawl through my old threads.
It must have taken you ages, you seem to haven taken a particular dislike to me giving credit to EDF,
or me personally, I can't really tell, but if I continue to have good service from EDF, I will continue to do so.
Why dont you put my threads in a folder then you wont have to keep looking them up.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I'll repeat it then. You are out of touch in recognising that EDF have horrendous problems. They may not have affected you but writing how good it is for you on all those threads seems a bit weird. (and pointless and unhelpful)

Then again, perhaps you don't have anything better to do either .:D

I have so many fond memories of EDF but my favourite was probably just last week, when they wrote to tell me I'm probably not on the best tariff for me, but because I've opted out of receiving marketing information, they can't tell me about the other tariffs. The best bit is that I haven't opted out .... :rotfl:

This sort of thing sums them up in my experience. As a company they are away with the fairies. In la la land.

:rotfl:Yes he/she didn't like the evidence being produced. It only took a simple forum search of McKneff and EDF and you get volumes of the same praise in spite of overwhelming problems for many EDF customers.

Also sweet irony that they accuse me of wasting time when they have posted nearly 18,000 times.

Surely if you have a good experience with a company you have just as much right to post as well?! I've also only had positive experiences with EDF, always get my call answered near enough straight away (I always ring first thing) and had no problems with direct debits. I wanted to increase me direct debits this month as I'm going off on maternity leave and was concerned that I was going to run up a debt. I e-mailed them via my online account on Thursday last week and received a reply on Saturday saying they have been increased - no problems for me!

More people should say if they have a positive experience with a company, if you are unhappy, vote with your feet and move!

How many customers do EDF actually have? Is it an 'overwhelming problem' or just a handful on this web-site!

That's easy to infer from the telephone wait times and the failure to respond to emails within their own not very challenging 10 working day target.

What are you implying? That Consumer Focus complaints data is wrong?
