And did you state it was a gift each month from your parents and unearned income?

    OP -

Your parents 'gift' will stop soon, therefore you will be £900 per month down regardless. So in my mind you have to take this job to bring you around £500 per month better off than if you were to stay on benefits - so either stay on benefits and be £900 down when your parents stop giving or take the job and be about £500 better off than on the basic benefits you will get when your parents stop the money.

Either way you will need to re-budget to account for the loss of money from your parents, easier to re-budget a loss of £400 than £900 a month, if your asking if anything can make up this loss, then I'm afraid the answer would be no, sorry.

i think it would be best to work out your out goings to decide if you can manage better on IS without money from parents or working tbh as either way it doesnt sound like they can carry on giving you that money(or that they should)

And have they reassesed your Income Support and Housing Benefit taking into account your unearned income? Because according to your first set of figures they haven't included this money.

the fact the op is admitting she's on over £2300 a month whilst on benefits is making me :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
