New week, time to get down to things. Parents leave shortly, OH away till late with work, time to start getting on top of things. Am reinstating my daily list as a way of organising myself. Stuff to do today:
    • pack and post eBay parcel
    • sort out stuff for eBay collections later
    • publicity for training day I'm running
    • plan and finalise one to one training session tomorrow
    • update website
    • start on business plan
    • check online banking
    • make a list of changes needed to tighten up spending and do at least one
    • find out our options re. renting out house
    • make a list of people we need to notify of change of address and get started
    • do at least 4 concentrated hours on report for work
    • catch up with email
    • online work meeting
    • meal plan for week
    • good walk with dogs
Yikes! Long list but some of these should be quite quick. Am starting to use the Pomodoro system for managing time - doing something concentrated for a set period of time, then having short break. Will see how this goes.

    Wish me luck!

    Good luck with the list!

I too had wondered about MB again - with a new address and a new bank account. Didn't change my name after the divorce otherwise that would have been a full house, and would def have encouraged me to give it a go!

Maybe it is our challenge for November....to give it a go?

    Hmmm.....

    Ponders......

    Have a good week :D

OK - you're on - a "restart MB in November" challenge! Will have to have a think about new bank account. It's changed from A&L to Santander - and am due a new card soon - do you think that would be enough or would I need to open a new one altogether I wonder? If so, it might have to be a December challenge!

Wow .... Miz, I'm dreadful at finding new diaries, but I've finally found you! Hi! Just read through, and oh my word, you've got a matched betting gig on with Hypno ... plus a great to do list today. I'm not *quite* sure about joining in on the m.b., but I'll definitely get going with stuff I've got to do - I got up so early it felt like a bit of free time, but its not, not at gone 9.15! Hope your list-crossing-off is going well.

Mizmir! Mizmir and Hypno matched betting! Have we fallen through a hole in time and its 2007 again?

Interested to see you mention the Pomodoro method, Mizmir, a friend of mine keeps talking about that. Let me know how it works for you.

Have been trying it a little for a few weeks - helps me focus definitely but I am still experimenting with the optimal length for a pomodoro (25 mins is too short for some things - 50 mins a bit long). And I need to make sure I use the breaks - I tend to just run on into them which I don't think is the idea!

The "good walk" would be a reward, for me, for doing the other stuff :rotfl:

Uh oh, just seen the time. Telephone work is at midday.

    See you later!
