I rang the 0800 590483 number and asked if I was due a payment. He said they were all being processed. I asked him to confirm from looking at my account that I fullfilled criteria. He said it seemed so. I made it clear that I would expect this validation to assist me if there was a problem. He then checked with a supervisor. He told me I would gain payment on 15th.
In the event, I was paid the next day according to the internet banking.
    Good luck

Anyone got a co-op bank email address to use for prodding purposes ?
Oh and when you close your account, do they ask for debit card, cheque book etc back ?

  • mine too came in 2nd march. check ed on here to see if people had been messed around with this and wasn't greatly surprised to see they had.

I found the online banking very basic but very quick, so may still yet use em, their faster payments service is at least exactly that (within 2 hours), unlike I find with other banks...
    Friendly greeting!

they'd not ask for them back, but would ask you to destroy them (probably).

Mine arrived 2 March, completion date was sometime mid November, been crediting the account monthly since then. Was very tempted to move to Santander and take their £100 plus £70ish cashback from TopCashback as I really hate this Co-op account but one has to play these things safe and only move once the money is in the bag! By that time Santander had pulled the deal. Oh well, someone else will offer a deal soon enough and I will test their banking service. So far Halifax does it for me and I have stuck with them for a few years now for their fiver a month and quick/effective website :)
