Here is what the letter say:

"As a thank you for taking up our switching offer and to show our appreciation to you for making us your main bank account. we will reward you with £200. To benefit from this I limited offer you must pay at least £800 into your account every month for three months following the date given above. If you do this. in the fourth month we will be happy to credit your current account with £200.

The date I receive that letter is 18 November 2011. From the above letter they will pay after the fourth £800 payment is made.

    Well, I have deposited since 1st November 2011 £800.
    So here from 01/12/2011 - 01/01/2012 I have depostied £800 4x.

I just check it today I have not receives that incentive. Has anyone had tje same problem ?

There isn't anything wrong with the 18 January payment. The month runs between 15 to 15, the 18 January payment, therefore, was in time for the 15 Jan to 15 Feb payment. It doesn't matter that the payments were on different dates within a month as long as they were made within the 15 to 15.

    Thanx Doc N,
Got mixed up. Only the first deposit is invalid and the following three should qualify.

I received a rejection letter on Wednesday and called customer service. They stated I had not mey criteria because my pay was credited one day early because of my payday landing on a weekend. She advised me to send a letter to their head office team, which I posted yesterday.

Today I have looked at my account anf lo and behold I have been credited by the £200 .

There is no way they have received the letter yet, so even when you phone them, they do not really know what is happening, Hmmm wonder what will happen when they get the letter :rotfl:

How many people have had the £200 but have paid in using calendar month rather than such a date to such a date?

You need to remit only 3x£800 and they pay you the incentive the following month.
As you switch was 18/11, your 1/11 deposit doesn't qualify.
    I don't think another 4x £800 within 31 days (between 1/12/11 to1/1/12) would qualify either:question:

I'm saddened to see the mess that Co-operative Bank are making of this. I'm also still amazed at how bad their website is.

I really was planning to give them a go, as an alternative to First Direct (who are excellent in every way) but this toxic combination of a chaotic bank and an equally hopeless website (where you can't even change the security details without giving them to an advisor over the phone, for example) makes that impossible.

So it's thank you for the £200 (when that finally turns up) but I'm out.

Still waiting for mine too. Terrible online banking. They also made a spelling mistake on one of my security questions when I first setup online banking which of course locked me out, so again had to speak to someone else on their team.

Gimme my £200 and bye bye CoOP ..
If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)

Sorry Guys for confusion, I mean here
1/12/11 to 01/03/12 (The original post have been amended)
So it is already 4X £800 and I just checked it a few minutes ago I have not received any incentive.

I did not count my first payment which I did £800 on November 1, 2011.

Has anyone got similar experience ?
