still waiting here, completion date 22nd Nov.0

I got mine on Tuesday. My completion date for switching was the 15th of November, and I made payments into the account on:
27th Nov
1st Dec
1st Jan
1st Feb
1st March
I received the letter saying I was not eligable today!
Account is now closed.
For those of you who've not read my previous post. I was told that quite a lot of eligable customers have been sent a letter saying they're not eligable (the letter does not state a particular reason). So don't panic, just give them a call and cross your fingers you'll speak to someone who knows what they're talking about. Not all of the customer services team seem to be up to speed with the answers to the questions you will be asking.0 -
I didn't have to even give them my transfer dates as when I called I was immediately told that a number of letters had been sent out in error to some people and to just ignore it.... (which I did as I'd already just received the £200 anyway!)
It's a tough call for anyone who assumed calendar months, rather than anniversary of completion, would mean compliance but I would politely complain pleading ignorance. Once switching was complete I set up a S/O for the same day each month (just after the switch date) so I never had a problem, (except for the irrelavant incorrect letter!)If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -
They paid me my money on the 23rd. No need to ask at all. I've now redirected the two direct debits and will use what's in it as my beer money and then when empty I'll shut it.0

Looks absolutely fine to me, your 'month' would run 3rd to the 3rd and all your payment are within the time!0 -

Quite possibly. The problem is that there are gaps of more than a month between the December and November payments, and also between the February and January payments.
It all depends how generously Co-operative Bank interpret their T&C.0 -

Hi deutsch,
What I understand is, your "month" would run from 15th-15th as 15/11 was the switch completion date. So your 31/10 remittance was too early and your 18/01 remittance was too late to count.
Keep fingers crossed. It seems they are as cunning as mobile phone cashback schemes!!!0 -

There isn't anything wrong with the 18 January payment. The month runs between 15 to 15, the 18 January payment, therefore, was in time for the 15 Jan to 15 Feb payment. It doesn't matter that the payments were on different dates within a month as long as they were made within the 15 to 15.0 -
Here is what the letter say:
"As a thank you for taking up our switching offer and to show our appreciation to you for making us your main bank account. we will reward you with £200. To benefit from this I limited offer you must pay at least £800 into your account every month for three months following the date given above. If you do this. in the fourth month we will be happy to credit your current account with £200.
The date I receive that letter is 18 November 2011. From the above letter they will pay after the fourth £800 payment is made.
Well, I have deposited since 1st November 2011 £800.
So here from 01/12/2011 - 01/03/2012 I have deposited £800 4x.
I just check it today I have not receives that incentive. Has anyone had tje same problem ?0
