Yep, round of applause for the Co-Op, looks like some of us were worrying over nothing :)

Could someone enlighten me regarding this monthly remittance, as I've been told by the switching team that I'm not eligible.

    9/11/11 account started with £800
    15/11/11 switching complete
    2/12/11 £800
    2/1/12 £800
    27/2/12 £800

Though I felt that I've remitted in 4 calendar months since November, they say, in my case it runs from 15th-15th as its my switch date, and the last remittance falls outside "my month"

I'm really cross and is there any place to complain?

    Something to rejoice.
My spouse also remitted exactly as above. Called the switching team, who said the remittances do not qualify for reward. However, the reward was paid in next day:T
I have to ring them gain and see if it works;)

My switching date was 17 Nov and I got paid yesterday :)

I was also a bit worried I wouldn't get the money as I mis-read the letter and took the switch date to be the date of the letter itself (yes, wasn't having a clever day). If they'd been very strict they would have seen I'd actually missed £800 in one month and paid in double another month - although I was only out by a day. Anyway, there was no need to worry.

I'm actually very happy with them - they haven't been officious with the rules, it's a relief to get through to a human when you phone customer services, and while internet banking isn't snazzy at least it works.

Finally.:j Just checked, got mine today. 06/03
    Completion was 18/11.

Having a good night, just got free £5 on Ebay (no minimum spend) as well from the Grabbit board which is on fire at the moment.

Got my £200 yesterday :j Completion date was 15th November.

I'm in two minds about whether to keep the account open. Like the customer service so far but HATE the internet banking, I really miss my Santander account as the internet banking is light years ahead

I haven't found their CS to be any better than anyone elses. I had a 'phone call from them last night (unprompted and unwanted). I'd sent a letter in to them to cancel the current account as I've received the £200 bonus. They asked if they could speak to me about my account, which I declined to do, so I was then told that the they'd make a "notepad" for the next time I did "armchair" banking. I asked what the heck they meant by "armchair" banking, and was told it meant 'phoning their CS. So why not use the correct term for it? When I had to ring them when I'd incorrectly received a "you're not eligible" letter for the £200, I asked what department the person was in, and was told "Sapphire 9". !!!!!!? It sounds like they're doing some covert operation for MI5. Using these terms to "sound" trendy doesn't do it for me I'm afraid, I prefer a spade to be called a spade.

It seems my final completion date wasn't until 6th December, so I've only just completed my 3rd month of payments. I've definitely hit the £800 pay-in every month, so I'll have to wait a few more weeks for my cash.
Like a few others, I like the CS from the Co-Op, but the internet banking is very basic. The DD transfer was a bit of a mess too, which has tainted my thoughts towards the Co-Op.
    C'mon you Canaries!!

I agree.Their "dedicated" switching team messed with my mobile phone DD and they cut the phone for defaulting!!
I don't know how secure the internet banking is, but it definitely "looks" awful.

I also had a lot of problems with the switching of Direct Debits,
it took them 3 months to complete switch.
    Complete mess
