Could we maybe associate death and dying with debt? Then it would be a splendiffly umbellifera type subject that we'll all dance around with and be eager to learn and teach? Honestly, none of us here give conditional support. If you ask for help you'll get it, unless you ask Knitting Nora for help on how to get at her stash of galaxy counters because then you'll just end up with a crochet hook to the umbellifera!

    But who could blame her?

Lots of good MSE things going on with you. I'm intrigued at the conversations that go on between you and your daughters about Spendy Saturday though. Although you never mention any complaints from them so have they incorporated the MSE ways too?

May the MSE way be with you - all!

    Good Morning :)

I've not been able to get onto my computer for a couple of days :( Time seems to be scarce at the moment :(

    Did ya miss me???:)

Muffy - Thank you, I can feel the MSE force :rotfl:

The Spendy Saturday went quite well, I am still in budget (just) and I have snaffled some more NSDs since then :T

Been to the gym a couple of times :T

I have fat club tonight

I have PADed to the Carp one card a couple of times :T

I submitted the final part of my OU course, so now I have to wait the result which won't be until about May :T:(

I haven't started 'death & dying' yet :o Which if you don't know what I am talking about sounds very very wrong :rotfl: I plan to take my books to work today. Not much work will be getting done :o Good job I am kinda my own boss :)

So I think I am still on track and still focused, so all is good in freeby world.

I just need to find some more time to myself which seems impossible at the moment what with one thing and another but I keep reminding myself that it won't be long til the DDs are all growed up and I'll be on my own wishing they were still here :(

So I am being positive and enjoying my girlies and all their related dramas :rotfl::eek:

    Have a great Tuesday x x

  • Hey Freeby, I've just finished reading your diary and you have saved me £4 as I was so engrossed that I didn't need to buy any magazines... :D

I also had to do the 'death and dying' malarky for my degree so good luck with that. We also had to do breaking bad news which doesn't get any easier although we used to get free chocolate biscuits at work so every cloud...;)
Life is like a sandwich, the more you put it in then the tastier it gets.............just go easy on the :spam:

Hallo MacP. Thank you for sticking in there and reading the whole diary. I'm glad I kept you from buying magazines :) but I'm not sure if engrossed would be the right word :rotfl:

The 'death and dying' malarky is not going well  I have an essay to do for Thursday and only half way through the reading :o Do you think they'll notice if I just make it up as I go along??? They never have before :rotfl:

    Good Morning :)

I realise that I have not been around for a while, and when I promised to post everyday again as well :o:o

I haven't fallen off the wagons. Neither the MSE or the Weight Watchers wagons are bereft (is that how you spell it -doesn't look right) of a Freeby presence :) I just seem to have absolutely no time to spare at the moment. I don't know why but I have spent much of the last fortnight chasing my tail.

The warmer weather seems to have brought it's own set of jobs to do. At least in the winter you can ignore the garden and let it do it's own thing. If I ignored it now and it did it's own thing I'd find David Bellamy in it next week spouting about previously undiscovered flora and fauna :o (or - just for miggy - umbellifera :rotfl:)

Today I plan to be outside digging and weeding by 9.00am for a couple of hours, then shower, then off to a DIY store to purchase a new lawn mower  (as I burnt the motor out on my old one ) then back to cut the field I laughingly call my back lawn, then shower (again) then off to a family barbecue, then visit the other Nana and papa with the girls then home to make lunches for tomorrow and do the ironing all the while doing the washing and the hanging out bringing in etc. I may fall into bed at around 11pm if I'm lucky.

D'ya see what I mean????? Everyday seems to have been like that. I am starting to feel like my burnt out lawn mower motor :(

The MSEing is going to plan. I have decided to get my shopping delivered so I can avoid the supermarket fever that has been taking over me when I hit Mr T recently. It's just another one of my plans to try and cut out the temptation to run wild in the aisles a la Dale Winton's crew of mental people.

But I do admit that I need to be more focused and concentrate more. I'm not sure if I am slipping or not mainly because I haven't been paying attention. I have money in the bank, all the bills continue to be paid their full amounts required and on time, I have been PADing to my current target and I've racked up a splendiferous 18 NSD's this month.
Maybe it's just become my way of life now that I am not celebrating all these things the way I used to :o

I shall try hard to get back on here to bore you all with my ravings ............now where have I heard that before :o

    And................

who took away that hour without informing me.........

    c'mon now own up

I thought I had ages yet but it's after 9 already..........

and am I in the garden???? No I am not.

Do I have the slightest inclination to go out into the garden????? No I do not.

    **sigh**

Freeby, I've just had a proper look at your signature and WOW! I do keep up with all you're doing so I hear about the little bits here and there that you're so great at. But looking at the actual signature on figures of what was and what is really is inspiring. Wooh Hooh Hooh to you!!! x
