Well, what to tell you today????

    Not much really.

    Nothing done.
Bank account still looking as healthy as it's going to.
No PADing done today because my account is nice and tidy.
Reached my second NSD target and have increased it again.
    Nothing selling on ebay.

    Blah :(

I am so lethargic and can't be bothered at the moment. I don't know what's wrong with me and I don't like it :( I know the work thing has knocked me for six and I am struggling to let go of all the jobs I did before and finding other things to do. I think when I get home from there I am so piddled off from that place that it transfers itself onto my home life too
Someone from another agency I work closely with has a job vacancy and tried to persuade me to apply yesterday and gave me the application pack etc, which was very flattering but it feels like a step down rather than one up or even one to the side so I shall have to think about whether I am cutting my nose off to spite my face if I apply. I just want the people I work for now to know I am not a happy bunny and am wanting out. I'm not quite expecting them to fall to their knees begging me to stay but I want to make a point.

Or do I just sound like a spoiled brat :o

Anyway I shall just keep swimming, just keep swimming. :)

Just read that back and YES, I do sound like a spoiled brat :o

I also sound pathetic and miserable and I'm not - honestly and truly. :)

Pfft! Just sounds like you're fed up with being taken for granted, and a little blue because they don't seem to care. No need to shake yourself over this - seems reasonable reaction to me *hugs* We care!

Z would tell you it comes from talking too much! ;) I will tell you that it's an award for being fab. :D

You are not pathetic or miserable (well, maybe a little miserable right now, but that's understandable). You're a strong lady, who has drawn a line and stood up for herself against bullies and carp bosses at work. You're demanding the right to be recognised and respected as a member of the team - and not treated as a doormat. Truth be told, you should probably wear a cape and your undercrackers over your tights....now that may sound a tad dodgy, but it certainly doesn't sound pathetic...does it?!

Why not put work to the back of things to spent brain time on, and do something nice for yourself, or with the DDs or *ahem* 'himself'.

Remotivate yourself not by work, but by your life outside of work...

I couldn't agree more! Take a step back for a while and give yourself some space, you'll feel better for it :) Hope it all works out for you x

Ahhhhhh thank you all for being lovely :)

I am feeling better today, much more like my usual self (which is a bit scary for you lot :rotfl:) I've still got a house like a midden but I have decided it can wait until the weekend when I have many plans which will probably not happen but at least the thoughts there! :)

PADed over another little bit to the horrible carp 1 card this morning and obsessed a bit over my spreadsheets - that always makes me feel better. I got a letter yesterday from one of my other credit card people yesterday which told me they were bringing my credit limit down a bit. Once upon a time it would have thrown me into a blind panic but now I really don't care. Less temptation and it saves me from having to make a phone call as I plan to ask them all to lower my limits at some point. I know what I'm like - there will come a day when I am skint and fed up and go on a splurge and if I ain't got the credit then I can't use the cards and will have to use my bank account. That'll stop me, being as how there is never a lot in the account :D

Managed another NSD yesterday. My new plan of trying to spend at weekends only seems to be working but I've only been doing it for two weeks so who knows if it'll continue :o So as its Saturday tomorrow that means a spendy day :(

So if it's Saturday tomorrow that means it must be Friday today (how clever am I????) I have that Friday feeling *wanders off in search of a crunchie* and no, it's never too early for chocolate :)
