Probably.
:rotfl:
Freeby, you are doing fantastically! As you say, you really have the attitude to knock the debts on the head now, and the results are there to be seen.
Glad you had such a nice evening, you deserve it.

I could tell you that he swept all the cutlery and napkins off the table with a majestic sweep of one strong muscley arm whilst clutching me to his hard manly chest with the other, before throwing me over the table and then doing the thing in mills and boon books where waves crash against a shore.........
but I'm sure you'll read about it in the paper next week
And thank you, you are so supportive. I wouldn't be still here without you all :beer:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Just you wait for next month!!
Next month could well be your month seeing as I have to go and visit Mickey Mouse and his chums for three days :eek:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hello Freeby,
See - I have to keep popping in and getting your updates as they're always so entertaining and inspirational.
Well done on all the snowballing and healthy balances too. I hope you felt really proud writing all of that down.
Congratulations on finding some potential excitement and happiness too. In the few months I've been reading your diary I feel it's something you thoroughly deserve. Long may your happiness continue.0 -
just found you after tracking you down from Nora's
just on the tampons stories pages and though you may now be off that topic but my 2 year old nephew once walked downstairs when visitors were around with one hanging from each ear telling his mum how he'd found some nice new earings.0 -
Good Morning
and hello Muffy and LT nice to see you :hello:
Didn't post yesterday as it was a very boring day and apart from a very grumpy Mr A man delivering nothing else happened.
The delivery came in at less than I thought it would thanks to a substitution - why send lamb when I ordered pork??? Was there no other porky type things to choose from :wall: Which means I am a meal down on my meal plan for next week but I am sure I can cobble something together, even if it's beans on toast
PADed another little bit onto the card this morning and paid the last two minimum payments. Now they are all paid and the money in my account is mine to stretch out over the next three and a half weeks to payday  It'll have to be a stretchy as a stretchy thing because there ain't an awful lot. I quite like this getting everything paid asap and then knowing what I have left is what I have left. It's a new experience
I decided to start to drink tea instead of coffee as tea is cheaper and (look away now if you have a delicate stomach) because I like my tea quite weak I can get two cups out of one teabag
but yesterday the caffine withdrawals kicked in and I went to bed with a stinking sore head which woke me up at various points through the night
I couldn't stand it any longer so at 5.00am  this morning I was to be found slurping coffee and swallowing pain killers
Never mind, the headache has gone
and I am having a nice cup of tea as I type.
Two things I have on ebay have sold :T but for very tiny amounts. But something is better than nothing and that's less stuff cluttering up my house. I hope they can wait until Saturday for them to be posted because that's my next spendy day.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Have a great Monday everyone......well, as great as Monday's can be

Nice to have sorted out the minimum payments... I am sure you will stretch the remainder and possibly even have a bit left at the end of the month.
Those prisoner pennies don't escape too easily once you are aware of them.freebyfifty wrote: »I like my tea quite weak I can get two cups out of one teabag
I know someone who leaves the tea bag in and just refills...
I'm not a tea drinker, I get through too much coffee so sometimes I have hot water instead. It took a little while to get used to but now I find it's refreshing.Miggy

Good Morning
Not very much to report this morning. Which I am happy about, if there's nothing to report then no disasters have befallen the freeby household
Have managed to PAD another couple of small amounts on the cc, and I am actually looking forward to getting the statement this month - which is a new experience. I have my estimated interest calculated on my debt spreadsheet and I am curious to know how much I have saved just by making those extra little payments. If I know Carp 1 though it'll amount to diddley squat but in the great, grand scheme of things I am about £20 closer to my debt free date
We really should be having haggis for our dinner tonight but I forgot to put it on the Mr A order and if it's not in the house then we're not having it  DD2 is going to a Burns supper at her school tonight where she has to recite a verse from some poem that has unpronounable words in it..........could be 'Ode to a haggis' (who'd have guessed???) with all that 'great chieftan o the puddin race' stuff in it..........clearly nothing better to do in days of yore than chat to your dinner :rotfl: (or a passing mouse) Will I be struck off the honourary roll of Scottish people if I declare I am not a Burns fan
Plain English Rabbie, plain English!!!! I do not believe that Scots wandered around blethering on about scooner's and sonsie faces!!!!
On the plus side, she's getting her meal there so it's one less for me to cook
And just as an aside, I have went back to being stretchy, too much white screen makes me twitch :rotfl:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hello Freeby,
You do so well with your committment to PAD'ing. Well done. Maybe my cc will go down faster if I keep doing that. I still can't get my head around the fact that I'm not overdrawn though so still nervous about touching what's in my account, even if it is just a few pennies.
Any amount of money closer to your debt free date is well worth doing. I read some people's diaries and they're paying off a whole person's wage as an overpayment each month! Those people scare me!!!!
Although they're very motivating too as they're not overly wealthy people with ridiculously overpaid jobs. They're people who are in complete control of their money and who are willing to take on extra jobs to get the job done!
I'm not a stretchy person myself. I just fill the white with another application. If I've understood you correctly, that is

You can make it stretchy again if you click User CP.....Edit Options....go down to Misc Options......then the drop down under Forum skin change to New Masthead..stretchy.
I think
