I went out for afternoon tea with friends in Ashbourne AND hit Hobbycraft on the way back....

Ta for the tips Freeby, will apply book technique to scary teenager who is threatening to out grow me any day now...anything to feign sense of being bigger and therefore worthy of authority...If it doesn't work,I shall be wrapping her in bubble wrap, applying protective layer of popcorn and posting her to Nora...mwahaha

Well I have to own up. Yesterday was not a good DFW day.......or was it.......I shall write it down and then make up my mind.
I visited Mr A and managed to spend a whopping £103.53
£44.50 on Christmas presents.
Bought my niece two Disney princess dressing up outfits for £20. I nearly bought her one in the Disney shop when I went late night shopping on Thursday but it was £35 and I balked at the thought of watching her running around in her garden spilling tomato ketchup etc etc down it so I didn't. So I got her two which are perfect for her to ruin 5 minutes after putting it on and I saved £15. The rest went on wine and chocolate
BUT I only have a gift voucher to buy today and then I am finished buying for other people :T
So £53.03 on a shop. That's not too bad
It should last a good long while and next week should just be a top up of milk etc. I'm hoping so anyway
So that's my confession.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Blimmin' cold today. I bet the snow starts just in time for me to go back to work tomorrow

Not much happening in the DFW corner of my world.
I have just spent the last hour obsessing over my spreadsheets and working out how much I haven't got
I have finished the Christmas shopping :T and now only plan to buy bits and bobs for the girls on ebay with my sales but I do have quite a healthy stash already for them so they won't be disappointed if I don't get them much more
.
I have to say it's a huge relief to get it finished. Only trouble is that there are still another 20 shopping days until the big day and I hope I can keep my purse locked away until then  I doubt it
I think I might wrap some of the presents today to help me convince myself that I'm done.
Now it's roll on January so I can get on with this job properly

Well done for finishing the Christmas shopping! My downfall has often been wanting to buy more stuff even when I've bought what I planned to.... I'll be trying hard to keep myself under control this year!Savings target: £25000/£25000
 :T
