I missed a few days but I wonder how many regulars on this thread I crossed paths with during my recent visits to Mr A and Hobbycraft?

I wander round shops thinking 'I wonder if I talk to you in my virtual life' especially when I see people examining prices and working out the offers :rotfl:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Well, after a fairly spendy few days I am planning to have a very frugal week. I seem to have haemorraged money the past four days and that's not good at all.
On the plus side the £300 from the energy company is finally in the bank. :j I also received the cheque for selling my mobile phones so that's a little bit more towards my pesky debts. :j My bank account is looking the healthiest it's been for years
and only three weeks to Christmas!!!!! With the majority of the spending done!!!!! The panic I was having has subsided a lot and now I am much more calm about it all. It is a lovely feeling.
I paid another minimum payment to one of my cc's this morning and that's them all paid for this month. All early and all exactly what they asked for expect F/Mans who I made an overpayment to. My snowball is right on track
. I am looking forward to January though so I can start properly. It's a bit strange this feeling of wanting to pay people. In my "head in the sand" days I put off paying them until the very last minute or late or sometimes even very late.
I don't have much to do today. Back to work
Post some ebay parcels
Avoid the kids nagging me to put the Christmas tree up (it's only the 5th December for heavens sake)
Brave the Baltic weather
And no spending

:)Morning Freebyfifty! I do enjoy reading your diary, so many things are the same for me. I too would like to be debt free by 50 but that's less than 18 months away for me so it's probably a bit ambitious. But that's part of my problem, I set unrealistic targets and then feel bad when I don't reach them. I'm going to do a SOA and see if the situation is as bad/worse than I think it is. Where did you get your spreadsheet? I think I should be keeping track of my money/spending on one. Fantastic that your snowball is on track :T keep up the good workSealed pot challenge no 1521

Glad you've got the cheques safely stashed and the cc payments made - how nice to have most of the big financial things sorted for the months, especially this month!
I wonder if MSE forum folks should wear a badge or have a secret sign so we can recognise each other in shops and point out where the bargains and the pitfalls are?Miggy

I have microsoft office on my laptop so I just use excel but i do know that google have googledocs with a spreadsheet on them, you could try that
Writing it all down is definitely the way to go, I'd be lost without mine.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
