And before I go and tackle the housework .....
DD1's earrings were only £1 but very pretty. I have loads of empty earring boxes so I will put them in one of them and they will look much more expensive and she'll never know **cackles**Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
From Wonder Woman to Evil Genius in one short shopping trip

Lol @ Evil Genius.
The energy monitor is now set up and already I am slightly obsessed
The house has been hoovered from top to bottom
The second load of washing is in the machine. Which is making me watch the monitor like a hawk and yes I did do 3 loads at the weekend and now I have 3 loads to do today - kids???? Who'd have em???????
The bathroom has been scrubbed - so much glass and shiny stuff now I've got a new one - it takes forever
Cupboard in my bedroom has been decluttered
Now shall I disappear into the loft and get the Christmas stuff down???? Not that I have any intention of putting the tree up, if I had my way I'd put it up on the 24th and take it down on the 26th (scrooge) but I need to see how many packs of cards, rolls of paper etc I've got up there before I buy anymore.
I'll have a cup of coffee and ponder..............Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Okay after much huffing, puffing and heaving later.............
I have established that I could open a small shop selling Christmas cards and wrapping paper.........what was I thinking??????????

So, you have free cards and paper this year? YAY! Well done!
I found a few boxes of cards during my hunt of things to sell and I know I also have plenty of gift wrap so I feel like that's another expense sorted and out the way! I'm a bit cheap like that though as I hunt through the Christmas card and calendar shops (the ones that only open for Christmas) on Boxing day and buy their range of family cards for a real knock down price. Last year those cards were so cheap I think I bought 4 years worth! Oh the shame!0 -
Well as if I didn't have enough trouble with trying to stop myself from blowing away over the weekend now it appears I will have to build an ark

Batten down the hatches, there's a storm a brewin'
Could be worse of course, this time last year we were up to our oxters in snow!!!!! :eek:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Erm....what's an 'oxter'?
There's a canal running through the next village - moor up there on your way through, and I'll meet you at the local pub....0 -

Oxters is a word.............I'm sure oxters is a word
Ahhhhhhh..the pub....a dim and distant memory. I'll have no time for the pub, I'll be seeing to the animals, feeding the lions, walking the penguins, putting scarfs on the giraffes etc etc.

Ohhhhhhh a run, I used to love running/jogging/fast shuffling but as part of my MSE ways I cancelled my gym membership until wealthier times and it's too dark to go running after work now (not to mention howling gales and torrential rain) Was doing well on th C25k as well
