Mr T Bill of £75.09 down to an actual real time spend of £17.33 !!!! I'm thinking that you should now be setting up workshops as you've cracked it so well! I love it when things like that happen. Well done. _party_

Thank you for all the well done's.
I'm running two OU course side by side (just easy ones though) and I'm not convinced I'm going to manage but if anyone likes a challenge it's me :)

    List from yesterday.......

[STRIKE]1. Visit Mr T and stick to list.[/STRIKE]See all my rambling above
[STRIKE]2. Double up points (it finishes next week) for clothing and buy the DD's some PJ's/socks/underwear etc for their stockings.[/STRIKE]And again, much much rambling above
[STRIKE]3. Get fuel. (My lovely dad gave me his fuel genie card yesterday and said I could fill it up on him and he promised a tank full once a month :j Gosh, he's lovely)[/STRIKE]£63.03 to fill Beauty up. Thank you my lovely Daddy
[STRIKE]4. Buy my dad's birthday present (something special but cheap.....ideas anyone?)[/STRIKE] How long did I go on for yesterday??????

[STRIKE]5. Post ebay parcels (again)[/STRIKE]Gone, gone, gone
[STRIKE]6. List some stuff on ebay, relist stuff on ebay (not done very well this week[/STRIKE] Only managed three things....must do better
[STRIKE]7. Post phones to cash4phones [/STRIKE]Here's hoping they send what they said they would
    8. Set up my electricity monitor that I got free from Martin's newsletter (then wander around the house like a maniac turning things off and on)
    9. Wash/dry/iron (will it never end!!!!!!!)
[STRIKE]10. Eat chocolate (but first I must buy some :()[/STRIKE] Comes very naturally this one :)
    11. Try not to get blown away to the merry old land of oz!

Not too bad as lists go.

    Today I must.......

    1. Set up my electricity monitor that I got free from Martin's newsletter (then wander around the house like a maniac turning things off and on)
    2. Wash/dry/iron (will it never end!!!!!!!)
    3. List stuff on ebay
    4. Parcel up ebay sales to post tomorrow morning
    5. Nip to Mr T to return something
    6. Read Psychology book and draw up an essay plan, email to tutor
    7. Eat chocolate
    8. Spend no money at all.
    9. Try not to get blown away to the merry old land of Oz (is there anybody already there?)

After a very spendy day yesterday I need to have a couple of days where I spend nothing. I am going to nip to Mr T's to return a pair of PJ's that I got for DD1 yesterday. One of her friends phoned her last night to ask what size she was in jammies as she was getting her a pair for Christmas (kids?????? - whatever happened to the element of surprise???) So I can get her something else now. And I still have £10 left to spend from my vouchers :) So hopefully I will not have to spend any actual cash.

Have updated my spreadsheet with all my spends from yesterday on it and all I have to say is :eek::eek::eek:
I just have to keep reminding myself how much I saved and that I am nearly finished my shopping and have not added to my debt at all. Also, I have a little bit in my paypal account, a little bit in my amazon account (a very very little bit), a little bit in my Quidco account and I have some cash coming from selling the old mobiles. :)

  • Holy ferret, you really are so inspiring with everything you're managing - I get tired just reading your posts!!

Two OU courses??!! Okaaay *looks on in awe of freeby's brain* So, what aspect of psych are we studying? I'm better with neuropsych than the stroke-a-cat-obtain-world-peace social psych side...because let's be honest, it all comes down to Dopamine in the end....but I'll give it a try!

Okay stop trying to baffle me smartypants :D They are just introductory courses (although I have completed a level One - pass with distinction :T, am signed up to do a level two in February and another level one in September -)
I wanted to be a Social Worker working with offenders (Criminal Justice) but now I'm not so sure :undecided. I actually don't fancy the social worker route but I enjoy working with offenders :o

And you should know that round these parts, "stroking the cat" can be seen as being very rude (if you have that kind of mind) :rotfl:

Wasn't much cleaner when Freud suggested it as the way of sorting out repressed women!!

Wow - criminal justice....good on ya! Plenty of things you can be doing within that subject area (dabbled with the idea myself back in the day - but after doing my dissertation on the prison system, and dealing with juvies and adult male prisoners quite a bit while I researched it, I decided I was too much of a wimp!).

Plus check out those consistently great marks - you brilliant student, you.

And no-one doing two OU courses, plus raising kids, plus MSE-ing like a mad'un can be classed as bone idle!! :naughty:
