Me too! Was having a minor flap yesterday about affording Christmas...then realised that I've now bought everything aside from a £5 secret santa gift, or at least bought the supplies to make the remaining prezzies. I've never been so organised.I got another Christmas prezzie from ebay yesterday, bought out of the cash I'd made from selling so no direct cost to me. I feel like Christmas is starting to come together and I'm so much more in control than any other year I can remember.
Darn tootin'I've only been doing this diary for a month and I can honestly say it has changed my life. One day I will be on here declaring I am debt free but at the moment I am really enjoing the challenge of getting there.
Thank you, but I'm a little scared of picking a choccie you like...restocked my own supplies in Tescos this morning...using the money I got by taking back things which I didn't want, but wouldn't usually bother taking back!freebyfifty wrote: »I have peanut M&M's, white chocolate Lindor truffles and about 6 Th0rtons chocs left. I decided to clean out my freezer when I got home from work tonight and write a list of exactly what I have got in there
I won't bore you with all the details ......steak mince anyone??????
but I now have a meal plan from my freezer until the middle of December!!!!! I had no idea my little freezer could hold so much.
I have a whole chicken in there I don't even remember buying  What are the chances of a chicken doing itself in, preparing itself, wrapping itself in packaging and jumping in my freezer???
Slim to none! So I'm guessing I must have bought it before my DFW days. :shhh:
And fish........I have three seperate packs of cod steaks in various coatings and we don't even like fish!!!!!!!! Well, we'll have to get to like it because we are eating it and that's that
Or..............I wonder how they'd do if I sold them on ebay :rotfl: Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Mornin'
Oooooo, your freezer is the modern version of Mary Poppins' bag!freebyfifty wrote: »I now have a meal plan from my freezer until the middle of December!!!!
You see, that's what happens when you get caught up in a conversation with a suicidal chicken...you're minding your own fishy business, you stretch out a fin to help the chicken on with its foil coat (which is a bit 'last season' really...breadcrumbs are the way to go now...), and suddenly you're flash frozen with the threat of being eaten! And fish........I have three seperate packs of cod steaks in various coatings and we don't even like fish!!!!!!!! Well, we'll have to get to like it because we are eating it and that's that

*nips off to check for fishy business on ebay*Or..............I wonder how they'd do if I sold them on ebay :rotfl:

Good Morning :hello:, it's a beautiful morning out there but, as I haven't ventured further than the back door to kick the dog out, I can't comment on the temperature but I'm guessing brass monkeys should wait an hour or two

I have been reading some other people's diaries and some are so inspiring and motivational (that's you Missus Knitty and loads and loads of others, too many to mention), some are hilarious (that's CorBlimeyHowMuch) and some just plain get on my nerves (that's ....... well I'm not telling coz I would never judge anyone but grrrrrrrrrrrrr )
Anyway I have decided to nick an idea and give myself a little list of challenges of things to do every day. Just little bits to help me towards my DFW days and stop me from sittting on here procrastinating all blimmin day
So for this weekend....
1. Visit Mr T and stick to list
2. Take ebay parcels to post office
3. List 10 things on ebay
4. Tidy wardrobes and sort into work/weekend/going out wear and out of whats left decide what can go in charity bag or on ebay.
5. Washing - wash/dry/iron - get it outside on the line.
6. Finish and submit OU essay which is half written but have run out of inspiration.
7. Housework - I'm a bit OCDish so the house is clean and tidy but need to hoover right through and scrub kitchen floor.
8. Paint bathroom ceiling  OMG I DO NOT want to do this one.
9. Sort through stuff I have bought for Christmas and organise into piles for who it's for etc. Decide what else I have to buy and scour internet for deals (ebay
)
10. Eat chocolate............thought I might put something in that was achievable
10 things????? I dunno, I'm such a lazy moo at the weekends. It seems that through the week when I am working I can just keep going but at the weekend when I stop, I just stop!!!
I'll be back to let you know (assuming you're interested) how I get on. Don't expect to be impressed

Inspiring and motivational? Good grief! Hand me a chocolate for the trauma of all that pressure!!
I think your ten things list is a brilliant idea. Can I suggest you do number 8 first....just get it done and out of the way....essentially, it's your frog http://www.eatthatfrogmovie.com/
You should probably end with number 10...obviously alternating 1-7, and 9 with more of number 10 as well...just to make sure it's really completed well...
And I do expect to be impressed...so get to it...quicksmart....0 -
I'll do number 10 for you.

Oooohh lists - I love lists! Love crossing things off (though the list never seems to get any shorter - how does that happen?!). Have discovered a fab little app (can get for free on Chrome browser) called Do it Tomorrow. Gives you a "handwritten" list that you can add things to, cross things off and - here's the fun bit - send on to tomorrow if you decide not to bother today!
