Good Morning from a dark and wet Scotland.......what's new I ask myself

All is well in freeby land.
I have the day off work today and I am planning much activity.
It seems like I have had a lot of time off work at the moment. I have a full week booked for next week and am not working a full 5 day week after that until January but that's the way I like it.
Every year I save all my leave for the last 5 months of the year. Which means I work from Jan - June without days off, apart from bank holidays and if I manage to accrue some flexi, and then it makes the end of the year seem so much shorter.
I have checked my bank account and updated my spreadsheets and all is on track. I have paid another minimum payment to a cc nice and early
and as I have said before, thats a big thing for me going on my past history
I have a list for today.....
1. Finish and submit OU essay which is half written but have run out of inspiration and it ain't magically appearing:(
2. Hoover entire house
3. Polish entire house (well...........the furniture anyway....not the house house)
4. Tidy DD2's bedroom
5. Make dinner in slow cooker - spag bol tonight
6. Collect parcels from post office that the postie couldn't get through letterbox.
7. Parcel up ebay sales ready to post tomorrow.
8. Clean newly painted bathroom
9. A couple more bits on ebay
10. Eat chocolate.
Like I said, much activity but on the plus side.......it's all FREE :rotfl:
Hoping to get a NSD today and then I will have reached my target of 15 days this month but I am swithering whether to increase it to 18 or not. Surely out of the next 9 days I must be able to get another 3????? Well, I will continue to swither and ponder and decide tomorrow if I make it through today without any spending.
I got my Amazon e-voucher yesterday and apparently Amazon are having some kinda big sale this week so I will keep my bargain eyes peeled for some stocking fillers for my girls.
Not heard back from Tesco about my receipts on their price checker thingy but I'm not holding my breath. I have the funniest feeling that they will say they are cheaper than everyone else and everyone else will say they are cheaper than them..............pah! you can't trust anyone these days.
I will be back with my list updates, more to stop myself from falling by the wayside than my desire to bore you all rigid

Mornin' *waves bleary-eyed and hopes it's in the direction of Scotland*
Most impressed with your lists - well, not so much the list itself (though those are really very good), but the way you're stomping all over them *makes stompity-stomp action*....I may try this myself....
Good luck with the OU assignment. Worst comes to the worst, post it up here - we'll help with a word or two.....;)
In fact, being as we've bonded, allow me to get you started with 'intermezzo' (guess who just opened her dictionary and picked a random word
).
Righto, over to my own diary to consider my list!
Have a good 'un.

Morning (what's left of it) Missus Knitty.
Thank you for your words of encouragement for my OU essay but as you can see from below ...... they didn't work
The essay is my current frog:eek:

Well, ok, but now I'm adding "cotyledon" to your essay - and I've honestly no idea how you're going to link that one with my previous contribution, since one's music related (apparently) and the other is about plants.....
*skips off to find next random word for Freeby's essay*
Oooo, this is fun! I can offer sentences too.....what's our subject?:D0 -
76p in tesco vouchers from the price checker thingy :T
76p is better than nothing:TFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
The essay is entitled:-
Even young children can be involved in decision making in the family and in schools. Illustrate how children can be involoved and also why that involvement might be difficult.
So far I've warbled on about behaviourism and about to start on Alfie Kohn's three step model!!!!
How am I to include cotyledon and intermezzo???? Ohhh it's all too much..........and to cap it all off I've still not started on number 10
