I have no idea how decent is it as they haven't told me the salary etc
If it is a really poor salary ...Then you have not lost much working the day.
If it is a really great salary ..Then it is worth the sacrifice of a day for.
I don't think you have a bad attitude.
I do think that the ball is definitely on the employers side of the net and a realist would take that into consideration.0 -

Should know what the job is, at least the hours and at least a rough idea of pay, worth a trial day you can get some more info.
I know what the job is but not what an offer would be (guess hours are 9-5.30) in regards to pay and sick pay (if any) and other stuff which you would only ever know if you got an offer.
It doesn't matter now anyway, thanks0 -

I'm not even sure if it is down to two or one now. They wanted to see the other person. I would assume they have seen them and are inviting OP as a final check to see if they are compatible with the team. I doubt much work will be involved0

Think of it as an extended interview. Unless you are losing a day's work elsewhere, then call them up to negotiate expenses for the day and go.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

OP has been unemployed for what is it.. 67 weeks or something as said on another thread, and is moaning about being asked to do one day to see if they can get a job. I can't begin to understand that at all.0
