Looks like my car will be costing less than I thought so just transferred the extra over. Also found £40 in my bag so that was a nice surprise.

I've almost filled my ISA so I need to figure out where to put the rest of my savings until April.

Well i am about 10.66%(£1,600) the way through my target of £15,000 for the year. Aim is up above 33.33%(£5,000) by the middle of March...while still debt busting. Will need to find a good leveller between the 2.
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

    Hi all,
I'm having another frustrating day off work due to ill health so adding up my figures so far! £100 transferred to First Home Saver + £130 (so far) ready to go to First Direct regular saver. Will update my sig.

I'm going to have 2-3 weeks off work starting 23rd of Jan to recover from an operation which means I will not earn any overtime for those weeks. However while being house-bound I won't be able to spend anything and won't be driving so it might make up for any money I lose. I expect I'll be checking this site a lot during that time off to help avoid internet shopping!

Looking forward to a healthy and frugal year ahead!

Just to confirm for you, that does work! I was housebound recovering from an op over Christmas and New Year and I didn't spend even a penny, hence the reason I managed to put a bit away to my holiday fund (not included in my £5k target as I will use it before the end of the year). Good luck for your op. Thinking quick healing thoughts for you :D
