Not long til we can all get started! Although as I'm self employed I will have to pay my tax in January, and also have my car insurance + MOT up for renewal. Not a great start to the year, but I'm still hoping to save something! Fingers crossed!

After crunching some numbers I think £12k may be a bit high for me but I am gonna stick with it and not reduce my target.

Aim for the moon and you may land in the stars and all that.......

Bought 3 sealed pots today from p0und land so I can save £2 coins and loose change throughout the year. :money: These little bits can add up quite quick. The 3rd one is for my £1/day Christmas 2012 savings.;)

I'm still looking for a home for my savings, will probably be an ISA in April as I have about £800 of debts to shift yet (HP).
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

  • Hi there ladies and gentlemen....can I join in too? I've been reading the forums for a while and feel this is a fantastic challenge to jump right into and give it my best shot. My life has done a 360 in the last year and this is something which will help focus me. MSE seems like such a supportive community. Can you count me in for the full wack? xx

Can you believe that's the first time I've heard that saying?

It's lovely...think I'll need to find an excuse to use it!
