Still thinking about how. But by basically using the principles on here. Spend less, earn more
When I first had my LBM, I set myself a budget and in the first month I'd spent my budget in the first week! It was 3 months before I finally managed to budget properly and had a positive balance at the end of the month - had the biggest smile!
I've looked through all my bills to reduce - gas/elec, changed mobile contract, moved to a cheaper gym, cancelled love film etc.
I spend less money than I used to, no buying drinks/food when I top for fuel. Take water and an apple or two from home if going on a long journey etc.
That means I can save a fair amount from my salary. I'm also earning extra by selling all my unused things on eBay, and mystery shopping. Using cashback and other incentives like switching bank accounts. Hopefully in the new year I'll take on a second job as well. No time at the moment because I'm studying. Also making sure that all the money I save is earning the most interest possible.
I'm of the view that lots of little things adds up0
