Well I'm at £4200 out of £6000, and won't be transferring any more to savings. I have a bit I could transfer but might blow it on braces so that I can start 2013 afresh and focus on saving only!

    Thanks for the thread Slowlyfading!

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Just managed to transfer another £200 into my savings to end the year on £11,205 into savings. Some of that went on the mintedmatty wedding in July but Mrs MM & myself are very happy where we are with how much we have in savings at the end of the year. Next year I am aiming for 12k again long with a new home.

Well done everybody on saving so much throughout the year. Looking forward to a great 2013!

I am declaring £1,250 for my savings in December giving a final yearly total of £13,400, exceeding my original savings plan for 2012.

A massive thank you to everybody who has provided a lot of motivation on here and good luck to everyone for the savings plans in 2013. Special thanks to Slowlyfading for the time and effort invested in maintaining the 12K in 2012 thread.

  • No 156 here, declaring £2400 for 2012. Very far off my target of £4000 but still very happy considering the change in circumstances we've had.

I will definitely be joining the 2013 challenge but with a much lower and more realistic target.

Well done to all of you, I'm so happy to see such great results!!!

    Bring on 2013!

Total for December a low £675, but that makes a great total of £14,250 for the year, so very happy with that!

Thanks for running the thread - it has really motivated me this year to shift money into my savings, and more importantly NOT take it back out again! :p

See you all in 2013 :)
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.
