Well done Matty :T
I have put £380 across today (December payday) but I am not going to declare my total just yet as I might be able to scrape another couple of ££s together by the end of the month. I know I will fall short of my target also but I am well chuffed to have what I have. Don't think I would have done so well without you guys to encourage me. Considering I lost £80 per week income at the end of July (£1840 in total to end of Dec) I think I have done not too badly

So, I did it!! £1000 this month making a grand total of £12000 this year. Actually should have for to £13k but last month wasn't my best financially.
Looking forward to saving £13k in 2013 although I've increased my mortgage payment and started a work pension which I'll also increase again in March or June.
Merry Christmas everyone! X0 -

Well done, I also am not declaring my total until the morning of the 31st, as my income is very bitty. Hopefully it won't be too late for SFs spreadsheets.
This has been a great thread, helping so many of us.
Thanks again, SF

well done everyone! I have just had a quick tot up and as I've done extra work this month I have saved an extra £250 into the ISA with a possible extra £50 or £100 to come. This means my total at the mo is £10,250 and even though I dont think I will make the total £12k by the end of the year I am very pleased so far. Wont declare the total yet though as more agency money to come.Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000
Save £12k in 2013 no.34 £11,800/£12,000
'How much can you save' thread = £7,050
Total=£29,100
Mfi3 no. 88: Balance Jan '06 = £63,000. :mad:

So my final tally for this month is £600 saved plus £114 interest giving a grand total of £12,554. :beer:
Super chuffed with myself for hitting my target and for everybody else who achieved their target.
Even if you didn't make your target, this thread at least, has got you thinking about saving....which has to be a good thing.100% debt free
