Spreadsheet has been updated again! :D I'll update the front page in the next couple of days, when hopefully more people will have sent their totals for May :)

    Well done everyone :j :j

£215 total for me for May - I had been on target for a lot more, but we got the credit card bill in which included flights to San Francisco for my DH and my Father in Law - though it was best to bite the bullet and pay them off straight away :-) Back on track for June I think!
Paying them off straight away is definitely a better idea - that sounds great! Are you going too?

Woo Hoo, that's me paid off my mortgage in full today:j:j:j.

Well done, a fantastic achievement!!! :T

My total for May is £1,535 - lowest monthly total so far, but I did have a chunkier monthly credit card bill to pay off than usual.

I believe that puts me on a YTD total of £11,704 - tantalisingly close to my target of £12k. Hopefully (unless my car takes a beating at it's service very shortly, which it shouldn't do), I can surpass my target by the end of next month. I'll then have a careful think about a revised target, as whilst hopefully I can keep up this level of monthly savings, offsetting that will be several chunky expenses.

Keep it up everyone, whether you make your yearly target or not, having a positive savings balance at 31 Dec12 vs Dec11 is a sign that you are saving! :)

Anyway, due to a lovely endowment policy payout in April, I have managed to exceed my target already :j:j:j:jI will be continuing to save so that I can see how much I am able to save during the whole year when I really try:rotfl::rotfl:.
