Congratulations to all this months successful savers!! I love reading how people are doing!!

Unfortunately my meagre savings went backwards this
month :o but with good reason, DD moved into her own place with DGS so I bought her a fridge freezer and various other bits.

And I was thrilled to be able to have the savings to do it :T

Hopefully next month I may be able to move forward a wee bit on the savings front :D

I'm doing so much better than I had expected. April and May are going to be expensive months but I've already managed to move enough to savings for April and still have enough for car insurance, MOT, service.

    Jan: £500
    Feb: £500
    March: £700
    April: £440

    6k in 2013: £8209.62/£6000.00

Hope you don't mind me saying Sylvia but 12k for fees does seem a little excessive, are you sure that's right :-)

A tiny amount of £35 saved in March for me. I've now updated the spredasheet on page 1. Really hope April is going to be a bit better, however, not building my hopes up as 2nd car is going for MOT next week and most definitely will require work done.

Well done everybody who is still on target

Another £257.87 for me in March, (TOTAL now £783.61). Still not hitting monthly target, may have to review this in a month or two, don't think I will be able to catch up and get back on track for saving £5,000, but any savings is better than none I suppose.

    Well done everyone. :)

  • Declaring £271 for March taking my total to £5938.

Also just added £70 (to be included in April total) which takes me over the £6K mark - WooHoo:j:j. Not likely to be much more in April as we are saving for our main holiday in May.

Slowlyfading, I have added this info in to the updates on the front page.

Pleased that I'm a bit ahead of plan for this first quarter.
