  • Good luck Slowly Fading, hope you have a fantastic day and a lovely honeymoon.

Savings wise, well my ISA is currently being transferred over so I'm not adding anything to either the new or the old for now in case it messes things up so I put my normal £40 savings into one of my savings accounts for now so I don't spend it. Adding that to my total.

Have a great day slowlyfading and a fab time on honeymoon!

I am declaring £1294 for March, although some of it hasn't made it into the savings account yet as I need to wait until the 1st as I have a cap on how much I can put in each month. It is in a 'holding' account so it counts for this month though :-)

For the first time in my life I have a full isa and I am maxing out my regular saver. My car made it through its MOT without making too much of a dent in my planned savings, and next month I have planned a week away in Wales which I am happy to let make a dent as we haven't had a week away since our honeymoon!

Good luck to everyone else in the coming month.
  • My total for March is £810.20 :j.

I think I should have been able to save more but I haven't yet managed to get organised enough to reign in my grocery spending :o.

  • Right everyone, I won't be online tomorrow or for the next two weeks really, as I'm getting married and then off on our honeymoon! But will do a mammoth update when I return :D

All the Best! Hopee you have a great day and a fab honeymoon.

I think I should have been able to save more but I haven't yet managed to get organised enough to reign in my grocery spending :o.

It is the exact same thing for me! My grocery budget is the toughest one to try and grapple hold of! It just seems to run away with me! :rotfl:

Right so onto my monthly update!

    Regular Saver 1 : £300.00
    Regular Saver 2 : £250.00
    Regular Saver 3 : £250.00
    Online Saver 1 : £83.03
    Online Saver 2: £607.07

    Total £1490.10

I thought it might be a bit more this month to be honest!
I had an op and so was housebound for like 3 weeks, and a few things that I was expecting hasnt come in yet! SO I will have to add them to next months total!

I have a busy month planned for April - between Easter, Birthdays and seeing relatives (petrol costs) I am hoping to try and do the same again next month! This WILL mean keeping my grocery budget under lock n key for the next month!

Hi all, can't believe it's update time again. I'm declaring £1172.51 for March which brings me to £3200 exactly. Have had a good month boosted by overtime I did, though I'm going to the IOW for a week today and I have car tax next month, so don't expect April to be so good. On top of that I really need to get my break pads and cam belt replaced too.. nevermind.

Slowlyfading - Hope you have a lovely day :)
    Finally bought a home

Hope you have an amazing time!

I have manage to save £1129.41 this month taking my total up to £3258.15 so far this year :j (no 189)

At least some of that was due to work expenses which I had repayed to me during the month.

Have the new situation of a joint account now my boyfriend has moved in, which covers food and entertainment, but we aren't quite sure whether the amount we are paying in (300 a month each) will be far too much or too little! So may end up with savings associated with that too now.
